ny post prints gephart VP choice

I did a quick search and don't know if this has been posted yet, but here in NY the post got it wrong this morning...they printed in the am paper that gephart was Kerry's pick for VP...they went with the information from an inside source....

Old news, posted earlier to day on the Kerry thread and on a separate thread.

I bought a copy of the paper on my way home for $.25. You think I'll be able to see it on ebay in a year or 2 and make some money off of it?

On the evening news they were saying to save those copies if you have them. They should be worth some money down the road.

Media sources said the News sent a case of champagne to Post editors and a note, "Congratulations on your front page. Have a nice day," with a smiley face. The barb refers to a Post advertisement near the Daily News building showing improved circulation figures, with the words "have a nice day" and smiley face.
