Can't answer for UK, but as a US nurse, you just have to show your license or paystub. You can always call the 800# and ask them to be sure. It is a wonderful resort.
Hi - DH and i stayed at the Dolphin for one night last year and i got the nurses rate - $129 + tax i think. I took my NMC card along and they checked it at the desk on arrival with no problems.
Oooh, I'll have to remember that. My sister has just qualified as a nurse, well, she's done all her training, but has one final exam to do (2-days before we leave for our holiday!) and my mum starts her 3rd in January! So, yeah, I'll be letting them know about these nurses rate - maybe we can do an onsite holiday at some point after all!
Going off at a tangent,I'd always assumed that the rates were for those employed in the US? So I'm taking it that as a UK Firefighter I would also qualify for a discounted rate?

I enquired about it last year but honestly can't remember whether I couldn't get it because I wasn't in 'active' employment or because I wasn't employed in the US
I seem to think that I could have applied if I'd presented some sort of current employment proof, wherever I was employed
I work for the NHS not as a nurse, but as a domestic, way down the pecking order I suppose in most peoples opinions so how do you know which occupations qualify for it?
