Is it hard getting a spot in the nursery? Our son will be 19 months old when we travel so he is too young for the clubs. I really want to dine in Palos and do the spa with hubby. I have read here that these are difficult ressies to get. What to do first?

DH and I split up...he went to the nursery (quite an experience with "a hundred crazy moms!) and I went to Palo and the spa.

We used the motorola walkie-talkies, they helped coordinate. However, daytime is easier to get than evening, so the spa shouldn't be a problem. If you are doing Surial Bath, you can only do that when the nursery is open, I had to call back the next day to get a cancellation spot.

Palo was easier, although we only got 1 night, and we couldn't do the brunch or tea becuase the nursery was not open during those times.

Don't expect to get to use the nursery every night, on our cruise 1/26, we were limited to 3 "visits", however, they did work with me to make sure our spa time and Palo were covered.

You may sign up for as many times as you desire, but they ask you to mark the 3 most important times....those would be your Palos and spa times. Each evening, they will call you and let you know if you got the time you requested for the next day. We signed up for each evening except Thursday, Disney Dreams showtime, and were approved each night. They need an idea of how many children to expect and set up the babysitters. You do have the option of canceling w/4 hours notice, which we needed to do a couple times because ds(2) really wanted to stay with us.
