I have heard a few returning cruisers here report the number of kids onboard. I know that the highest number that I remember is around 1000 kids... And, I am not really sure on the lowest number... but it seems like it was way way less than that.

Can anyone here report back on when you cruised, and how many kids were onboard? We will be traveling in Sept... Off Season. But last Sept. was really packed, due to the $99.00 promotion. I am thinking I can expect fewer children this year?

Thanks!

Well......whether there's 600 kids or 1,000 kids there will always be a lot on every single DCL cruise. It is afterall the DISNEY Cruise Line. I don't say that to be a wise guy, just pointing out the facts. Disney ANYTHING= Lots of kids.

Thanks WIcruiser. Of course there will always be PLENTY of kids on a Disney Cruise! :D

Funny that you mention 600 or 1000. I was thinking that maybe I had heard someone mention a number that low. But I am not sure? Anyone know?

But they do have a "cap limit" for each age group so as to not over do the councilor/child ratio. Not sure what that number would be though.

Just back from the Jan 19 Wonder cruise. They said that there was 700 children between the ages of 3 and 12 on board. I saw lots of babies and toddlers and teenagers too so can only guess that maybe double that total.
