Number of Days at DL

omg it sounds like I have homework to do. Just returned from first trip to WDW. DH and I grew up going to DL. Firgured we would jump over there when we visit my mom next year. Sounds like it has changed alot. Last time there was 19 years ago.

Is is true that "you just sit down somewhere to see it?" I'm not sure I have that correct...can't even remember where I read that:confused3 It's not like at WDW at all, but I hear it's much better:lovestruc
It is more like seeing fireworks or a parade where people stake out spots - some sitting and some standing. The sitting area is down near the water in the front and that is what we usually do. Further back it is standing only. Those like yourself who have see F! at WDW in a stadium-type setting may find it inconvenient, but if you can get past that the show setting on Tom Sawyer Island and the Rivers of America is quite magical and most find the DL show to be better.

Yes, two of them have been recently...within 2 years I believe. What they do not like about DLR vs WDW is that the "real world" is so close. Remember, we are not from a big city so I believe that's why. Nothing at all "wrong" with the parks, etc...it's that they don't get that feeling of "being in a totally different world" that they get at WDW.
I can see that. However it often gets back to what you are accustomed to.

If you like roller coasters don't forget about Magic Mountian about an hour outside of anaheim, lots of big roller coasters.

I wouldn't spend less than 4 full days at DL/DCA.
