Hi All,
At Pop Century the lines waiting for busses were just that...lines that were roped off and you had no choice but to "line up" BEHIND the people who were there first (makes sense to me!). At Port O. Riverside (ugh I hate even typing the name of THAT place!) everyone crowded around like a heard of buffalo and there was no consideration for those who got there first...the people literally would knock you out of the way to get on the bus, and didn't care if you were the first ones there or not. What is it like at Kidani? Is there a real line or is it a cattle call?

I can't answer your Kidani question (1st AKL stay in Sept!) but we've stayed at CBR, WL, BCV, BWV, & Poly and never had ropes for lines. I'm only guessing that it's a must at value resorts because each resort only has 1 bus stop. That's a LOT of people gathering to wait.

Good morning everyone!

I'm sorry if this has been asked before...

Does the gift shop at AKL sell cases of bottled water? If so, does anyone know the price?

I did see cases of water in the shop at Jambo, but they were in a case away from the rest of the water and not easily visible. And also way too expensive, like $24 or something like that. We stuck with the big single bottles instead as needed.

We are staying at Jambo House (third time -- my favorite resort!), but would like to check out the Kidani pool. I did a search of the threads, but still have a few questions.

-are there loungers or chairs near the splash area where I could watch my daughters? I have read it's difficult to keeps an eye on kids if one kid is in the pool area and the other in the splash area, but I will try and make my girls stay together!
-how often does the shuttle run between JH and kidani?
-if we chose to drive from JH to kidani pool, is there parking close by
-is there an actual walking path from one resort to the other, or just a road?

DD and I are staying at AKL for the first time July 23-25th - can't wait!!!!

We usually stay at the Dolphin, POFQ, POP or the Poly, so this will be a nice change for us. I just moved down to Naples, FL from Vermont and have been using my Florida resident annual pass like crazy! LOL! DD is still in college in New Hampshire, but I expect (HOPE) she'll be visiting a LOT!

Hopefully we'll fall in love with AKL like you all!

Back from a 3 resort, 3 week stay...and hands down, AKL was the fave! From the people, to the activities, to the food, to the pool....wow...just amazing!!

I hope to have the chance to stay there again, but as a family of 5, that's hard. If the kids and I go solo again...you bet they will say AKLall the way!

I am new to posting here, but have been a reader for a long time. We will be going to Kidani for the first time Sept.14-21. We had reservations for SSR June 11-17, but had to cancel at the last minute due to work conflicts. When I called member services, the guy was awesome and said what would your dream trip be. I told him 2 bedroom Savannah view at Kidani. He made it happen and it only cost me 1 pt more!!! My parents will be joining myself, dh, 2ds (12/11) and 2dd (10/9). This is their first time joining just us (they attended the family reunion). We are all so excited!! Well, except the kids that don't even know that we are going at all. Super big surprise!!!!

I didn't see any when I was there sorry. Just single bottles from what I noticed. We got ours at walmart.

I didn't see any in April. We drove down so we were able to stop and get some off property.

I have no idea..

I did that on our first trip. I had 2 cases of water in a suitcase. My husband didn't know why the suitcase was heavy.

I never put it in the suitcase, I just check the case of water as my piece.... They put the sticker on it and put it right on the belt...
