my old boss stopped by today and said she was leaving for WDW tomorrow
I told my coworkers that Im ready to go back
(even though we've only been home 2.5 wks)
she told me "now youre being greedy"

guess she just doesnt understand the Disney obsessed

I'm ready to go back as my airplane is lifting off to go home!!!!

People look at me like I'm crazy when I say we're going back again. It's been a whole year, I've been ready to go back for months! You're right, they just don't understand. That's why the Dis is so great, everone else is just as obsessed as we are!

Yes, I am greedy. I confess :) I got home one Tuesday and I'm ready to go back now. Sadly, I have to wait until December.

Yes. I'm guilty of being greedy myself. Some people just don't understand..:confused3

My kids friends think they are sooooooooo spoiled. We had planned a quick trip to WDW in Sept and one after Thanksgiving. Due to the hurricanes we kept postponing. We eventually made it, but because of the timing we got home 2 weeks ago and will be going back in 4 weeks.
Life is good..................

And what do your coworkers do for fun? Are they "greedy" about it?

Some people collect stamps, others collect cars. People here on the Dis collect Disney memories. What is so different about that?

I had a co-worker tell me we were nuts cause we go to WDW so much (we'll have 4 times in 11 months come May this year). Of course he has no problem going to Las Vegas 3 times a year to gamble with multiple trips to Detroit and Windsor, Ontario to gamble added in.

The way I figure it, people do what makes them happy. Sometimes the only thing that gets me through work some days is the thought of the smile on my kids faces at the HDDR!

LOL..When I told my coworkers I had booked my room for next June they all groaned. They know they will have to put up with 8 months of my countdown on my white board and my non-stop talk about all the plans I am making!

Not my problem they just don't get it!

I know what you mean! We have been several times since we had children, three times this year alone! I got home on October 10th and I already have our "surprise" spring break trip booked thanks to the BDP code! Girls don't know yet. They think mom is just anal haunting this board. If they knew howmuch $$ I have saved thanks to codes!

I am always ready to go back to Disney World even before the trip ends.:mickeybar

My boss said, "You're going again? Oh, I wanna go with you!" Now, she gets it:goodvibes !

Heck no you're not being greedy. I am right there with ya...I have been home two weeks this Sunday and I was there for almost 2 weeks...I still need to go back, SOON!!!

I have realized that I need regular doses of WDW. I self-medicate with Pixie dust. We went Dec 2000, then didn't go back for three years! We're making up for lost time. Oct 03, May 04, Dec 04, May 05, June 05, Oct 05! It helps that there is a regular meeting in Orlando that my work will pay for!

It's good that everyone doesn't get it - otherwise the parks would be much more crowded!

I was so greedy when we left last week, I was jealous when I saw people checking in. My DH said that it was someone else's turn to have fun and I said that I was glad that other people were getting to come and enjoy it...but I lied :guilty: I really wanted to cry!!!

Yeah - and I've gotten over the weird looks and comments that people give me when I tell them that we're going back again.

I feel like a spoiled child when I have to leave WDW and see people checking in. I want to kick my heels and whine that I dont want to go home. And I just had my 70 th birthday.:sunny:

I'm greedy too! I always get the looks, the "again?"s and the "how can you afford it?"s. I just say, we all prioritize.....for us, we'd rather do Disney every two years than the beach or Vegas every year (the two main vacation destinations of our crowd).
