now you can't "segment" what if you book 1 night at a time???

I know that disney has stopped us from "segmenting" reservations for the dining plan BUT what if you book each day seperately?
I only ask as we are trying to secure days at SSR, they are currently fully booked so phoning daily and booking 1 day at a time when they become available.
Can we book different dining plans for these? will they make us move rooms every time now or will they be sensible and leave us in the same room?

If you book seperate nights, you will need to check out and check back in, check-out is at 11:00 AM and check-in is at 4:00 PM. It is possible that you could stay in the same room, but there are no guarantees.

Additionally, doing this, really is more adminstrative work, and ultimately that means additional costs which are passed on to all members.

If the reservations are for the exactr same thing, I think the system automatically links them, so booking one day at a time won't allow you to segment for the purpose of getting a different dining plan.

Assume the old rules are in place when deciding whether or not to get a dining plan.

"Old Rules" - to get different dining plans for your stay, you must change resorts or book something that requires a room change if you stay at the same resort.

No, they are not allowing any reservations, already booked or not, to be segmented anymore. I believe if you already had the segmented dp added you're able to keep it, at least I haven't seen anything saying differently.

No they are not allowing any more segmenting. We have our October reservation already segemented, but they will not let us add and pay for separate dining plan.

This totally stinks, because I have all my reservations made based on the fact that I was getting the deluxe plan for first few nights and then the regular dining plan the rest of the week. How with 26 days left until my vacation, I'm suppose to try and get new dining reservations for a party of 8 - yeah right!
