Hi,
we are going to wdw next september on the dining plan, I have already looked at pictures of our hotel(POFQ) and read lots about it, decided the resturants where we are going to eat. (There is no way we are going to use all those dining credits  )
I have even done a list of all the attraction we want to do/see, and from this work out how long to spend at each park.
I have also pre booked our seats with Virgin.

I have now ran out of things to do for the time being, and I feel like I am at a loose end, the holiday suddenly feels so far away.

Have you planned your actual schedule? Only dya-by-day..you know...which park, which dining spot that day, times, etc. It makes a HUGE difference!! :thumbsup2 Don't forget to schedule time back at your resort EVERY DAY if possible. It gets soooo hot you need a pool/nap break or you'll likely end up miserable. :guilty:

I would just relax then, you have a lot of things sorted and lots to look forward too - you can think about a daily plan if you want to, personally we just take each day as it comes, however - I would just chill for a while, enjoy the DIS you are going next year that's the main thing.

I think we will be at POFQ the same time as you. :sunny: ..we check out on sept 3rd. I see you are doing 18 days...did you think about a split stay?
I would have liked a split stay but couldn't do it with free dining..but POFQ looks great anyway...quite compact :wizard:
Iam in the same boat as you..at a loose end now. I have already made a list of 14 restaurants to book, and will start a very loose schedule soon which I will tighten up as the park hours and EMHs are released 6mths before.

For now iam enjoying doing my "homework" and learning all I can on the dis.
I already know several activities thsat I want to book and as the 6mth mark approaches I will decide on dates to work into my schedule.
We want to do...Bip bop boutique...Discovery cove....Family magic tour....Surfing tour at typhoon lagoon.....Kennedy training experience...wishes cruise....pirates cruise....and Alice wonderland tea party. :cheer2:

Phewww sounds a lot...i hope I can work it al in. :)

we will be at POFQ from the 23rd August until the 10th of september, and we are doing free dining too.

POFQ is great, if you haven't done it yet you plan wht restruants to eat where so it fits in with the park plans. THat way you can be ready to book the tables when the time comes, booking is important during free dinning as the restruants will get very busy.

It may also be worth looking at tourguidemike, that can help you make your own plans to avoiud queues and crowds. Disboards gets you a small discount I believe.
