I just called to make a reservation and there are no value resorts available for the week of Sept 15th or the 22nd. The only thing that is available is CBR of CSR.....I kind-of didn't want to spend that much money, now I don't know what to do. Any suggestions:confused3

Looks like you are stuck with a moderate now. ;) Its the last day of DDP bookings. I was actually trying to change my POR booking for 2 values. Not available. I guess its now or never for free diners:rolleyes1

Can you afford the price quoted for CBR or CSR? If so then go with it was either is a step up over any of the value resorts. If you cannot afford the price quoted then I think you are out of onsite options. Unless you asked about a room only at the values and then you could try and budget food costs accordingly.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I think that as long as you have booked by the deadline (today or tomorrow) you can make changes later. So book something now and keep checking back to see if there was a cancellation at a value. I have heard over and over that people book the promo packages with the hope that they can work it out. When or if they can't they cancel right before the full payment is due.

I just checked for 22nd - the 27th and there isn't any availability for the Values.

There have been lots of posts about this same issue on the boards, what everyone has been doing is booking the longer time frame and then calling in a few days later to cancel the dates that they never really needed. I told someone else about this and they had no problem doing this with a res that they made at the Poly.

Wait...so you are saying if I book a moderate by tomorrow to get the free dining, I can try calling back at a later date to switch to a value if any rooms open up? And still get in for the free dining...???

You could also book a reservation at a value for a longer time than you really want and then cancel the dates that you don't want later. Someone above posted that "an hour ago for Sept 19-30 and all star sports was still availible with free dining."

Are you sure? :confused3 just checked online yesterday and there was still room for the Sports and Music for the 21st thru the 30th... why don't you check online?

I just checked online about an hour ago for Sept 19-30 and all star sports was still availible with free dining.

I have done this a few times and posted about it. For whatever reason some resorts require a certian amount of time, I dont know how they do it but.....sometimes you cant get the 22-30 but you can get 22-10/3. So play with the dates. The above poster said it was avalible for 19-30. Book that! hang up and call back and tell then you wahnt to reduce the number of days and you will have NO PROBLEM!

I was just now playing around with some dates. I checked for 9/22-10/4 and Pop Century, ASMu, and ASMo were all available. Good luck!

I have 9/21-10/1 at ASMo... but I am going to change it to 9/29 later to check into CR with the AP rate. But if I check 9/21-9/29, all values were booked up.
