So after months of getting really excited about a road trip to WDW, I just bought round trip AirTran tickets.
Two factors impacted this change in travel plans:
1. My band booked a gig the next before we were to do the first 10-12 hr drive day. The thought of getting home at 2 AM and then on the road by 8 AM was not exciting me.
2. Just realized my AirTran Travel points expire soon, so I used them to make the overall cost lot less that driving. No baggage fees as we'll pack light and use the villa W/D. ME here we come again.
My DB will have a car so we will still be able to do a grocery/booze run. Only drawback is we will miss the DVC Condo Meeting, but I can live without it.
We will still be road warriors in May/Sept 201, so all is not lost.
