Our Grand Gathering just grew to 16!!!

Believe it or not my mom (who will actually be celebrating her 80th birthday during our stay) has decided to join us. She hasn't been in 20 years.

It all started when I found out she received one of those coveted 40% off codes. Unfortunately the dates didn't work out for our Grand Gathering (darn those kids going to Law School!). After talking about it she decided to come with us after all. We will now be 4 generations!

Wow, 16 people. That's wonderful that your mother will be joining you all and celebrating her 80th with the mouse. She is going to be so surprised at how much more stuff there is at WDW. A little off the subject but we had a family reunion 2 years ago and had 6 generations there. It's so wonderful to see. I hope you all have a fabulous time.

What fun, Robyn!! How's your planning going?? Did you stay firm on the YC ressie or have you changed it??

BUMMER about the code being a nogo. THAT would have come in handy.

We are a firm YC this time. It seems like the best centralized location for all the different age groups (Now we range from 80 to 3!). I also think SAB is great for all the different aged kids.

I was really excited about the code - if only if could have been a week earlier. DS #3 is graduating from college in May but will have Law School Orientation the only week that the rest of the clan could have used the code!

I wish DH and I would get a code so that we could squeeze in an October or November trip.

All our ADRs are made - hopefully no changes on that. That was a a bear!

So are you still a go for Easter?

I agree YC is a good choice for all of you. It's nice to walk b/f to the two parks and the BW area, pool, etc. Just a lot THERE for all ages. I bet those ADRs were tough.

I still have no code, either .....still hoping, but not too optimistic, haha. DH and I are planning on going in Sept for our 20th anniv. so a code would be great.

Yes we are going for Easter. A mom/daughers trip. We have the Swan/GF split booked and I think we will stick with that. The best of both worlds. But we are wishy washy so who knows where we'll end up.

Have a wonderful time. Our grand gathering last February we had 21 family members. Having all our family around just made it that much more special.

That is soooo wonderful! We took my Grandmother when she was 82. She just passed away this fall and in looking back at those pictures of her and my children when they were so small...ahhh...you get the point. I am soooo thankful she went!
