Now that the discounts are out ....

Long story short, we have booked LM rooms at AOA from May 1st to May 7th. I just checked and for about $100 more we can change to CBR. When we surprised the kids at Christmas I mentioned we were staying at the LM room and my 5yr old loves Ariel. My husband says don't change anything but I don't know if I should. I really think we will be happy at AoA but I need some reassurance... I know the difference in bed size and the food options but we are planning meals at the park for the most part ... With my kids being small I think they would enjoy the theme better ... We can also change to POP preferred room and save about $300 ...Any input ?!

Double check the discount. Usually the LM rooms are not included in any type of discount offered. Actually I just looked and this is what it says

• Offer excludes campsites, 3-bedroom villas, Disney's Art of Animation Resort – The Little Mermaid Standard Rooms and Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows.

Correct. That is why the OP can switch from a LM room to a room at CBR for only $100 more. The CBR rooms are discounted and the LM rooms are not.

I would stay with LM room at AOA or switch to POP for discount. I would definitely not pay $100 more for a room at CBR. CBR is so big and the theming is not there for little ones. We stayed there with our then 8 year old and 3 year old girls and they were very underwhelmed at the theming. It felt like we could have been staying at any hotel at the beach. POP and AOA are over the top on theming for the kids. You really feel part of the magic at those two resorts.

Not a fan of CBR, so I'd stay at AoA.

Stay at AoA.... The double beds are the biggest downside, but their food court is excellent and the resort itself is very pretty. Not your typical value.

I would stay at AOA. If you have small kids I don't think CBR or POP will be as fun for them.
