Going with DD 3 for the first time Feb. 23-29, staying at POFQ. We have two days on our tickets for MK, and the rest of our time will be spent at the pool My original plan was
Wed 2/24 Pool and relax after travel
Thurs 2/25 MK
Fri 2/26 Pool and DTD
Sat MK
Sun Pool and carriage ride

Now EMH for morning have been released for Fri 2/26. Should we make use of these extra hours or are those days at the park more crowded? Or, would it be more crowded on the Saturday over that Friday? We are going to try to get CRT for lunch or early dinner... I know that the technique with CRT is start with your last day and work back to get a reservation so our MK days could change. However, for the time being what would you all suggest? TIA!

Have a great trip!

If you are only doing MK, I'd probably go with easywdw's recommended parks, which will NOT be EMH days. Especially if you dont have PHs. Right now, Saturday looks to have the highest crowds of the week.

BTW, what do you plan to do if its too cold to be in the pool all day, for 3 days of your stay? We were there at that time this year and only had 2 of our 10 days that were warm enough to hang by the pool. And we're Canadians!

I would suggest adding more days to your tickets.

If you're going to be in the park all day, I would avoid EMH days.

2 days should be plenty of time for the MK. I personally wouldn't do so many full resort days. I'd be doing a mix of park, break and back to park for each day, but that's just my personal preference and not a need to be in the MK to get things done. If you do that, then emh's come into play because you can take advantage of the emh, then leave before the park gets crowded.

DH and I always travelled to Disney in February pre baby (I'm a teacher, we live in VT) and we just like the hot tub and sunshine if pool is too cool, or if it rains just eating out and monorail resorts. We have two days left on old.tickets and it is very costly for us to exceed this for now. When DD is older we will go crazy in all the parks! We just like to unwind and enjoy being out of the snow.

..avoid both days for MK then? Thanks for clarifying!

Also DH and I are very different Disney people. I grew up in a family that was at rope drop every morning ..DH not so much. He is not a morning person! The first time I brought him to Disney and had him.do EMH at HS I have a picutre of him on Tower of Terror and he was not a happy camper. Haha! Although having a three year old has broken some of the lack of being a morning person haha
