NOW post and share your digital pics!! Great photos inside:)

OK, this is the same shot as the last time I posted, but different time of day and different settings on the camera. I think this one came out far better! Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. jann, I couldn't get rid of the trees - sorry! :)

:rotfl: well now where's the always necessary chain saw in your camera bag? i have started to carry one all the time. some trees really were ticking me off when the branches were in every shot i tried to take yesterday. fortunately for them i would have had to dangle over a 100 ft cliff to cut the branches off ( well plus it was in a national park and thought the rangers might remove my person to jail if i did) so they lived to see another day...forget that "O2" they give off and give me a clear shot!!!;) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

nice but wonder did you use noise reduction on this. it is much less noisy and wondering what made the difference, iso or reduction.

Nope, it's just a different ISO. This is straight out of the camera (well, except for cropping out a "no-go" rope and a stray tree branch). I changed the ISO to 200, shot earlier in the evening with more light, and I think the light settings are different. I have to check the EXIF data. No noise reduction was used at all. Amazing the difference it can make, huh?

I get strange ideas at times so I wondered what photos would look like if the lighting was underneath and behind the subject. Here is the result.

The first one looks the best to me, IMHO. Do you have one where it doesn't quite fill the frame as much?

what is the last one of? it looks like some underwater current thing, strange but pretty .i like how the light is shadowy at the top of 2 and her wings are lit up but the rest of her in silhouette as well..number 1 is a little confusing due to the snow..at first i thought it was a poppyseed muffin although i was hungry at the time:)

thanks it's with my rebet xt and cheap "$140 new off the shelf " phoenix 100mm macro. i really like that lens and love the length.( so it would be like 160 mm with my 1.6 crop)

This is the only one doesn't fill the frame.

The last one is a candle. Here is another shot that shows the entire candle.

Here are a few from our small town Christmas Parade this last weekend.

Small town? Those are two huge fire engines. Our small town fire engine is a pickup with a water hose on the back!:lmao: OK, OK, it IS a BIG water hose!!

declans dad, i like the last one best( the one you posted by itself), it's a little softer lighting which is nice with the subject

i can see the wick now in the candle one, it's like one of those macro shots you can't quite figure out:)

Thought Id post this here since there is no Animal Kingdom picture thread :)
