the photos are accessible to anyone. I honestly don't care, the people who steals photos usually either are not making money off it, or not making enough money off it. Keep taking more pictures, sell them if you can, and find bigger fish to fry. I'm never afraid of people using my photos illegally.

Yes, once or twice it happened 'by accident' by large corporation, all I need to do is send them a cease and desist letter and they always comply.

You can make your albums private or public.
When you invite someone you can give them the password, and you can still post images from private albums.

I think my main concern is people accessing photos of my children, but I guess there is a way to only download certain pictures right?

not really. Once you post it, say, at the DIS, then anybody can just right-click, save-image and save that picture.

You can download whatever pictures you select. I only download the one I want to post on here, not all my pictures on my computer or CD.

Download one at a time if you want to post them for certain contests, etc...

Pretty much all were:-

Camera: Canon EOS 350D Digital
Exposure: 5 sec (5)
Aperture: f/16
Focal Length: 28 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: 0/2 EV

Lense was the Canon 28-135IS (didnt have a wider lens with me - wont make that mistake again now I have a 10-20mm Sigma )
