NOW post and share your digital pics!! Great photos inside:)

For those who use Canon digital cameras, do you use the "My Color" feature a lot to enhance the blue colors?

Here's my favorite picture...
I have used SLR's in the past and have 2, Minolta and Yashica...both vintage 70's.
I am on the fence with buying a Canon or Nikon DSLR and enjoying this board....BUT....this ( and other decent pics) has been taken with a Fujifilm S5000 Finepix and I'm really hard pressed in giving this camera up??? :confused3 Any advise would be appreciated?? :confused3

Okay, I've been trying really hard this week not to post any kitten pictures, but the "cuteness" factor on this on is way high, and I just couldn't resist. Two of our five kittens that were born on Sunday. Nala and Sarabi the pillow). For some reason she always winds up on the bottom of the pile!

I took this with my HP digitial. It's nice and compact, so I don't have to worry about my good camera!

Oh my goodness, they are so precious! I think little kittens are the cutest things in the world. :)

I love my Canon Digital Rebel. The new XT looks great too but I would love to move up to the EOS 1d or better. I have used a Canon EOS 1 film camera for years so it was natural to go digital with them but going Nikon can't be bad either. :thumbsup2

Well since there is a little photoshop action going on, This took about 5-10 minutes.

Photomerge(keep as layers)
rearange layers to proper order(top is the first snap)
lower opacity and use a feathered eraser to expose the next layer.
reraise opacity merge down and repeat to expose next layer.

ooooh, I'll start. I just got my S2 IS about a month before our Christmas trip to WDW. Here's one of the castle from Tomorrowland.

How did you get your picture to look like that? Did you use the my colors to emphasize the blue?

I love it...it looks like something out of a fairy tale book.

What an amazing feature!!! Very very nice!!

I believe I just boosted the saturation a bit on that picture. Sad to say I haven't really used my colors yet on this camera. I still have a lot of learning to do!

Thanks. I'm new to Photo Shop so that seems so confusing to me. I get my new camera on Tuesday so I'm so excited to play around.

Thanks soooo MUCH rosiejo !!! :cloud9:
I'm lucky with this fujifilm s5000 and enjoy using it and haven't touched my "old" slr's since I bought the fuji. Sure would like to try a Canon or Nikon DSLR but I just can't objectively justify the $$$ when I can take pics like this..most times anyway.

How about a little fire at Indiana Jones Stunt Show today.... can you believe we have lived her for 3 years, and been to MGM more times than I can count, and never did the Indiana Jones show before... it just never worked in out day. It's nice to still be able to see new things even with all the time we spend at WDW!

How about a flower using the out of bounds method to make it look 3d.

Ok, how did you do a 3D look like that? That's beautiful.

How do you lower opacity? I'd like to try something like that just to learn how to do it.
