Here's some info for now. The Room Discount will run until December 23rd, with the only blackout dates being Thanksgiving week.

Hey guys, here's some more tidbits on the room only. On the other thread, I clarified the thanksgiving week blackout dates (23-29). Also, rather than try to list each specific resort and room type, I just made a blanket statement for discount ranges, noting they vary by room type within each resort....so the percentages should be read as (up to x% off) for any particular resort type.

Oh and the discounts are actually a bit higher as well.

No. It's always going to be one or the other, and typically the Disney discounts are much higher.

We are going on the now "worst week ever" first week of December that has been deleted from the FD offer. :.

Just wondering why first week of December is "now worst week ever"? Is it because the FD now won't be offered then, or something else?? That's the week we are going.....

Pop Warner is the second week. I am going Dec 1-6, and I picked that time because of "low crowds" and hopefully good weather. Seems like it has become a very popular week.

With much excitement I added a second week to our November family vacation...All Star Movies here we come!!

We again threw around the free dining vs. room discount

Since we got annual passes this year we would have to buy four 2 day tickets which would cost us another $720..

Room discount should be 20% (but sure hoping for 25%)
that will be $300 off the room

even tho we can keep the 2 day tickets for another visit it just doesn't make sense to spend that much more just for quick service meals
you can get combo meals for under $10 and drink water...shoot we can even split some of those meals

I love free dining and when it wasn't changed to quick service for values it was a no-brainer to use it...but now it just isn't the right choice...although its gonna kill me to know I could have had it

I wanna know too! Pop Warner week is the second week of December. I know the WDW Today Reunion 2013 event is during the first week of December, but I can't imagine that would have any real impact on WDW. Room availability with this discount offer is really, really slim at some resorts. One that is literally always available, is sold out on multiple days in one room category! I'm really shocked.
