Yesterday was the 60 day mark and since I didn't post a dance here I'm doing the
59 DAYS!!!! dance today!

Once again we were a couple days behind taking off numbers on the countdown calendar so this morning Hannah came in our bedroom and told me that she'd taken off two days and in a very excited voice said "
59 DAYS!!!!!" I think she's starting to get excited! LOL
Past two weeks have been fairly quiet. We went to the fair a couple of weeks ago and had a good time. My niece is in Future Farmer's of America at her school and was there to show the sheep she's been taking care of. She didn't win anything but she had a good time. Clay's parents and sister and her two girls were there as well. As an added bonus, Alison had called Clay's sister and asked her if she would take her to the fair so, even though it wasn't our weekend with her, we got to spend a day at the fair with her. Hannah was over the moon to get a day with her sister. The girls had fun riding the rides and they got to play one game and all won a prize. It was also a good way for me to see what thrill rides Hannah would ride.
She's always been more of a thrill rider than me but there were some rides at WDW she wouldn't ride when we went (EE, ToT, RnRC, BTMR). She's been saying that she wants to ride all of these rides when we go in November but I've been a bit skeptical. After the trip to the fair I'm skeptical no more!

There was a ride like the Drop Zone that she wanted to ride but we never got around to it. I thought that would have been a good precursor to the ToT and she could decide if she really wanted to ride it after experiencing that. One thing she did want to ride, which surprised me, was a ride called Zero Gravity. Ya'll know what I'm talking about? It's round and you stand up along the walls. They put a strap across you but that's all that holds you in because gravity does the rest! It spins around and as it spins it then tilts up. Personally, I'm not getting on that thing!

Hannah loved it! LOL Alison had a look of sheer terror on her face.

They all rode it twice. LOL
I didn't get many pictures at the fair because my batteries were dying and I didn't have any extras. UGH Here's some of the few pictures I did manage to get:
My niece in her farm clothes:
Her sheep, Bubba and Sarah:
Hannah milked a cow! (Also the last picture I got before my camera died! LOL)
Funny story on the cow milking: While we were waiting our turn there was a bucket with empty milk cartons in it. Hannah sees it and says "There's where they got the milk for the cows." Yeah...she thought the cows drink the milk and that's how they produce milk.

God love her! After she was done milking, she said "That was yucky. If felt rubbery!" LOL She got a free carton of chocolate milk for her efforts. LOL
Clay and I went to curriculum night for Alison's school last week. Clay told her teachers about our trip and they all seemed thrilled about a Disney trip. I don't know if any of them have ever been or if they like Disney but they didn't seem to be bothered that she was going to miss a couple of days of school so that's good. Her Social Studies teacher had sent home a pre-progress report (Alison didn't have it yet because she was out of school Wednesday and Thursday due to the stomach bug going around.). She's got an 83 right now, which isn't bad but isn't good either. The real progress reports come out next week so we'll see how she's doing. I'm really hoping Clay won't have to make good on his threat. We told her teachers that she's been told that she won't be going to Disney if her school performance is poor. They thought that was a great incentive (as do we) for her to do well. Hopefully it has been! Either that or she doesn't think Clay will follow through.
Worked on our itinerary some more this week...just tweaking some things here and there. Our parks are set in stone and I've made some adjustments to what we'll be doing in each park. We had Alison this past weekend so I had the girls sit down on Sunday with their Birnbaum's Walt Disney World for Kids and make a list of their must do attractions. It was only supposed to be their top five for each park but it turned in to a top whatever they wanted to do! LOL

I tried to convince them both that Stitch wasn't that great...told them it was dark, things came out of the dark and touched you and that Stitch burped and it was really smelly. Well the smelly burp sent them both into gales of laughter and made them want to do it even more. UGH I think Clay is gonna take one for the team on this one because I'm not doing it! LOL
Another funny Hannah story: Hannah was looking at the Epcot map and saw France on the map. She exclaims: "France! "France!" I tell her "Yes...that's France." She then says: "I didn't know France was in Florida!"

I think we need to get Connor and Hannah together because it would be non-stop entertainment with those two! LOL
Also, while working on her list, Hannah said she wanted to do Fantasia. I told her that Fantasia is a movie, it's not at Disney World. She got a bit frustrated and kept saying she wanted to see Fantasia. It finally dawned on me she meant Fantasmic. She was not happy when I told her we wouldn't be seeing Fantasmic on this trip. I would love to see it too but I'm not dealing with those crowds. Plus, I would have to change our MK day to a DHS day and I don't want to do that so she's just going to have to live with the disappointment. Hopefully the Osborne Lights will make up for it some!
I've got all but a few of Hannah's autograph cards printed out. Next will be Alison's autograph cards. Then I'll have to trim them down and get them in baggies to keep them from getting messed up. I bought some small clipboards at Staples and will use those for when the characters sign the cards. I need to get those decorated with stickers or something. I also bought some new clickable, colored Sharpies to break up the boring black autograph. LOL
I've got several DISigns for t-shirts and next weekend when we have Alison we'll go through and pick out the ones we want to use for our trip. Then each week I'll buy a set of t-shirts until I get them all done. I need to put more money on the girl's gift cards and after that I think we're done with making them do things to earn spending money. I think they're both going to have more than enough. I've pulled a couple pairs of Alison's shorts to pack for the trip and I've started thinking about starting to pack. I can't do a whole lot of packing of Alison's stuff because she doesn't have that much at our house. I could probably get Hannah's stuff packed and she'd still have plenty to wear. LOL Gotta love those hand-me-downs from Alison!
Next Friday Hannah and I are going to see a production of "Aladdin" at The Children's Theater. While we're at "Aladdin", Clay will be at a high school football game with Alison. She's in band and the 8th grade band gets to go to a high school football game and play with the high school band during half-time. I hate I'm going to miss it but if she sticks with band I'm sure there will be many more Friday night football games in my future!
Oh...and I made some more changes to our ADRs.
That's all that's going on for now!
