November weather 2005

Since we are going in November I ws looking for last years temps and found this information. I hope someone else can find it useful.

We were there at the parks at those times last year. Sometimes it was COLD
We brought sweatshirts and cotton stretch gloves for the kids and we needed them!!
Just a heads up to be prepared!

We didn't do any swimming. Although, we had maybe 3 afternoons that were warm enough. Mind you we didn't have pool heat (We rented a house and I'm glad we didn't pay extra for pool heat!). Sat, Sun and Mon were nice then on Tuesday it was a little cooler. That evening we had a downpour (while we were sitting and waiting for Fantasmic ). After that the rest of the week was cool. We're from Jersey so it was still warm to us, but the locals were pretty bundled up. Once the sun went down we got chilly and got out the sweatshirts and gloves.
It was still fun and made it feel a little more "Christmas-ie". The free hot chocolate at the Christmas Party was really welcome!

Thanks again Kimba for the information. I am looking forward our trip. I really like to know as much as I can before going. The weather for me was a big issue. I did not want to pack anything that we really did not need.

I hear you about not overpacking, but I was really glad I packed that extra stuff. We only had one pair of jeans each though, the ones we wore down. That was kind of a pain. This time I'll throw an extra pair in for each of us.
Another tip...Beware of the ferry to MK on cold mornings. It was cool out but we didn't realize how bad it would be on the ferry. We had to cover my youngest DD with DH's backpack!! She was in the stroller, desperately trying to stay out of the cold breeze that was coming from everywhere it seemed.
We'll stick with the monorail next time!

www.wunderground.com go to history and find the temps for pretty much anywhere.

We usually go during the first week in November and always had great weather. Usually highs are in the 80s with little to no rain!
