November Positives!

I had no internet on my 180 day so I had to reserve everything by phone an hour later. I am very happy with all my November ADR times. I got:

Coral Reef (dinner)
Teppan Edo (dinner)
Be Our Guest (dinner)
Whispering Canyon (our only late dinner but it's the only day we can squeeze in Wishes so that's okay)
Yak & Yeti (lunch)
Boma (dinner)

I got 2 of the 4 that we wanted for November. Got trex and chef mickey's, but couldn't get CRT or BOG. Was on the computer at 6 am on our 180 day mark too. Hopefully, we will get both between now and our trip.

Tusker House late breakfast (so hopefully we can try lunch too),

Sanaa lunch
Ohana breakfast (instead of preferred CP pre-opening)
1900 Park Fare dinner (instead of BOG we couldn't get).

Though the timing could be better for some, I'm excited for all of these.

We also have a Mama Melrose Fantasmic package for lunch that I'm not thrilled with. I wanted to do something really special as its my son's 4th birthday on the 16th, and the plan was for H&V lunch with the Disney Jr characters and Fantasmic package. Just not feeling like I have the "best day ever" feeling I was hoping to give him. Still holding out hope though, and happy I was able to get so many other great character meals!

We are going Thanksgiving week. I was able to get:

1900 Park Fare (dinner)
Tusker House (Thanksgiving lunch)
via Napoli (dinner but want to convert this over to a CP package when that opens)
'Ohana (breakfast)

What I was unable to get is a BOG lunch reservation on 11/24. I could have gotten one later in the week but those days would not work with our schedule. Still hoping we can snag a lunch or even a breakfast if they offer it. My DD really wants to go back. Then anxiously awaiting info on the new Skippers Cantina. We definitely want a dinner there if it is open!

We got everything we really wanted. If we score a BOG we consider it a bonus and would change something but we are very happy with our plan! We do not know if we will ever get back there with my parents, we may, but these restaurants play homage to several trips we have had with them over the years. It is just not in the plan for several years and who knows where we will all be then. I hope we get another trip (or several) with them there, but I want to savor every moment with them there this time in case

Oh and several of them are with 10 people, so I feel blessed that we got what we wanted!

Our TA booked for us, and she did great! We have FD, so character meals were our main concern for the kids.

We had been aiming for a Chef Mickeys which we didn't get, and took 1900 Park Fare instead - and to be honest, I think we'll enjoy it more. The only other thing that we didn't get was Akershus as breakfast, but I'm planning to try to move it much closer to our trip. My kids are more likely to actually eat at a breakfast buffet than a lunch one, so it's just practicality for me. If it stays lunch, no biggie.

Would love to see if LTT opens when we are there but if not, that's okay.

Glad the kids are not interested in CRT or BOG - took some pressure off!

We are there the same dates as you! And also got a late breakfast at Tusker House hoping to try a bit of lunch as well. LOL.

Free dining reservations aren't so hard.
