All of that stuff (for me) has been done for weeks! I'm LOOKING for things to do now just to make the days go by  My planning binder is done, my lists are printed and organized, my luggage is prepped, my DD's bags (travel bag and pool bag) are packed and ready to go. My park bag is packed. The only thing left is to GOOOOOOO. :lmao:

You guys are too funny!! Come on over to my house and get me ready/packed!!:lmao:

Actually, I think I'm on schedule...I'll leave the actual packing to the last week before like PP said...not sure how much warm/cold clothes to pack yet.

Now I just got to finish this Autograph book for DD4 -- it's taking soooo long to do, but it is lots of fun, too!

Yippee!! November is almost here!!! Another Turkey trip to WDW!!! After getting my kidney stones and hernia taken care of I need a trip to the most magical place on Earth!!

We are going Nov 20-Dec 1.

We are splitting our stay, cause we kept adding days to our vacation and DVC couldn't get all our time at 1 resort.

Nov 20-22- POR with AP rate & DDP
OKW Nov 22-29
AKV Nov 29- Dec 1

So what are you currently doing to get ready for your trip??

===================

p2

I am starting to throw some things in my carry-on (not necessary for the plane, but for the trip), like the kids' trading pin necklaces, and some travel toiletries I grabbed at Target the other day.

Made a chart on the computer and printed out of our ADRs, and approx cost of each meal. I have $500+ worth of Disney gift cards that I plan on paying for most of our meals with, and I want to make sure I have about the right amount.

Combing thru the DIS and Tour Guide Mike's website to make sure I am confident of our Touring Plans. I have never been at a holiday break time, and we are only going to the parks 6 of our 11 days there- I want to definitely maximize our touring/ride times.

Drooling at dining pictures and reports here on the DIS.

Waiting for the mail to arrive- I need my ME documents for the kids and I (my parents are going to rent a minivan, but we figured it might be less chaotic if I take the kids on ME and have ME take care of our luggage, than trying to deal with the rental car counter, 3 kids and luggage for 6 people after an 8 hour flight).....I also am waiting for $300+ of Disney gift cards I earned from a rewards site. Oh, and I ordered some pins off of ebay for the kids to trade- since I ordered them, this seller has gotten a ton of negative feedback- I so hope the pins come. I ordered from them in early Sept and got 15 beautiful pins lickity split.

Hmm- I think that's about all. We have a lot of stress going on in our household and this trip will be awesome. And as soon as we come home from WDW, my DH comes home from Iraq for his 18 days leave. :lovestruc

46 days and counting - I know my family will be glad, because they are really, really, really sick of hearing about my trip.

:rotfl: That sounds like MY family!!!!!!

I tell my little cousins, who are 11 and 9, "Guess where I'll be in XX days?"

In a monotone voice, "Yeah, yeah, we know, Disney..."

It's hilarious!!!! I LOVE teasing them, because they went with me 2 years in a row, and haven't been the last 2 trips. It kills them! I LOVE IT!!!! :lmao:

So far for packing:
1. 7 custom outfits completed, 3 to go.

2. All bows that coordinate with custom outfits in a rubbermaid shoe box.

3. Undershirts, leggings, and tights that go wit customs packed up.

4. Got park bag started. Ponchos, pin lanyards, moleskin, germ-x, wet wipes ect along with large index card with all conf#'s. Made another copy to go in our suitcase JIC.

5. Garden grocer order is made. Lat year DD had NO room in the back with all the stuff. It is worth the $12 delivery fee for her to be able to move!

6. Replaced all worn scoks/undies in preperation for trip.

7.

That is funny! That is exactly what my kids are saying when I say that!

Since we are going without the kids I am currently trying to get all the stuff I need for the grandparents ready. Like school test/homework schedules, etc.... Once I have that I will start packing some things. I am a late packer and since we don't have the kids this time (just dh and I) it will go a lot quicker. ;)

We are going the 14-21st and staying at Windsor Hills! I am so excited and can't wait to book my ADR's and plan the rest of our schedule!

OK I am just a little EXCITED that we are less than 35 days away! I wanted to share our ADR's since when I replied to the poll it was in July:lmao: We are not on the dining plan but I am excited about our dining plans.

11/15 Akershus for breakfast
11/17 T-REX for dinner
11/18 Crystal Palace for breakfast
11/19 Sci-Fi or Playhouse Disney for late lunch (still holding both but will decide soon)
11/20 Chef Mickey's for dinner

I was up at 5am CST to make the reservations online. My DH thought I was nuts but when I crawled back into bed he said "did you get everything you wanted for us?" I mumbled "yup" he replied "cool". So while I think he would never get up to do it he is secretly happy about his disney obsessed wife;) Anyway, hope everyone got what they wanted and are getting excited!

I was looking at my November poll from last year. 41% of Disers went the 2nd week. This poll is pretty much even, except for the 1st week.

I'm so hoping for even lower crowds than last year. My mother and I had such a great time last year.

:surfweb:

Looks like it's distributed a little more evenly this year, according to this year's poll ... We're going the first week (Jersey week) so I've been worried about it.

This is definitely all I'm doing right now! And looking at the stack of summer clothes in my bedroom that I would normally be putting into storage but need to keep them out for a few more weeksm:cool1:

And speaking of ME documents, when can I expect them to arrive?

Yay for November people!
My husband and I are finally going to go on our much anticipated honeymoon from the 15th to the 21st. We're staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter. It's his first trip to Walt Disney World, so we're both really excited for this.:woohoo:

and I always get so ambivalent before I leave on vacation. Does anyone else get that way? I have been planning this trip for almost a year and I hate that.

Usually 40-45 days before your trip. I've gotten one set of my documents. I have a split stay. But I still haven't gotten the documents from the straight from Disney booked documents. I'll call in a week if I haven't gotten them yet.

4 weeks!!!!!!!!

YES!! After all the planning and anticipation, you would think I'd be absoultely giddy by it only being a couple weeks away, but I'm not. It's almost the complete opposite. Probably because I know it's going to be over. I thought I was the only one who felt this way.

34 days and my ME package came today! :woohoo:

No ambivilance here.....but I can understand there being a sort of let down. Almost like post wedding planning let down. Maybe it's more of a defense mechanism kicking in...so much work and you don't want be let down so you start to "not care"?
