Thanks. If I wasn't training for the marathon in January I think I would have bagged it. A little bit of "fear of failure" goes a long way to getting me off the couch!
My 60 minutes on the elliptical Saturday brings me to 165/1800. I am really pleased that for the first time since I totalled my knee in July 2009 (and after 4 surgeries on it), I did my last two elliptical workouts at resistance "12" or higher.
And when I did the leg press machine with my personal trainer last Wednesday, I pressed 297 pounds! 3 sets of 12 reps. He was very pleased. I was pleasantly surprised that I had no pain or discomfort afterwards.

Wow! That's awesome on the elliptical. And the leg press...amazing! That's a lot of weight without having previous knee issues!
