I am thinking about going in either November or December. I was wondering the best time to go as far as price and crowds. I really want to see the Christmas decorations.

The first week of December is supposed to be pretty low on crowds. You'd want to avoid after the week before Christmas, jersey week the first week of November and Thanksgiving if you want low crowds

I keep hearing Jersey Week really isn't that bad, and that's a Thursday through Sunday....so not a whole week.

We're going the second week of November this year. It's the first time I've gone at the time since we were kids when the crowds looked like this:

We're headed down second week of November also. We usually go in late/Jan or early/Feb, so I'm looking foward to seeing all the decorations, etc.

I'm guessing crowds will be similar to what we've been used to. Our big adjustment is dealing with the the Christmas party. We've never had to leave a park early before on a party night.

If you want to see all of the decorations then the first week of December would be best for crowds. Before Thanksgiving the magic kingdom will be decorated and the Osborne lights will be up... other decorations will go up the week before and the week of Thanksgiving. But, that week will be very busy. First and second week if December are good weeks and everything is decorated.

thanks everyone. We usually go the 1st week of February. I heard the week right after thanksgiving is also a slow week - is this true.

Yep, crowds clear out that Sunday following thanksgiving. Starting Monday it is nice up till mid December.

We went last year the week leading up to Thanksgiving and it was well decorated for Christmas already. The large trees had ornaments, Osborne lights were playing, and other small decorations began to go up. We are going two weeks before Thanksgiving this year just to avoid crowds.
