Christmas vacation is booked and somewhat planned, checking in Dec 21-26, hoping it follows in line with the past few trips and we would be able to get FD(have checked in in the last day they offer FD) not sure how it will be crowd wise with Xmas on a weekend and most schools not starting Xmas break until December 23-either way we can't wait

My DDIL and DS are planning to join us in December, but would like a RO discount. Does anyone remember if there have been decent RO discounts in the past? For them, the FD will not be a bargain, but a 30% off deluxe resort will put them right in their planned "before they arrive" budget. My DS will go over the planned amount, but I really think (hope) there will be an offer that will drop the cost.

Also planning for early Dec 2016; dates are somewhat flexible. Very distressed to hear about the mobs from Pop Warner during the week we had hoped to travel!! This may be enough incentive to move our dates.

I have to say that while I noticed they were there, our flights were packed with cheers, as was our resort, I was impressed by their overall behavior. My traveling partner stayed at an all stars the night before we arrived and her experience there was not at all positive, but I think that only shows that it all depends on a groups dynamic at any given time.

Planning to go Dec 23-Dec 30. My entire family (13 ppl, will need 4 rooms). Can I book now expecting to pay full price and then, if a promo comes out for a room discount take advantage of that?

It looks like the discounts for that time period are historically released around July but I don't want to wait that long bc I want to book our dining reservations the soonest I can.

Oh, I had not thought of that! Are hotel reservations required before booking meals? And do you have to pay up front for the hotel reservations and tie up that money while you wait for a better deal?

I don't think so but if you're staying on property, the window to book your reservations opens 180+10 days before your stay. It's earlier than guests who stay off property. You do have to put $200 down/room upfront and then the rest is due in a time frame before your first day ( can't remember the exact number of days).

It has been on our wishlist for sometime and as our season passes end in December, it will be our last hooray for a good long while and it would be awesome to go out in a bang, or a wheelbarrow considering all the amazing restaurants there. lol. Not sure if Poly gets discounts anywhere other than the Disney website for passholders or if there's anywhere else to look. Definitely will be checking on this thread; so glad to have found it!

WE"RE going from Nov 5-Nov 13 and we're waiting for the room discounts! We've gotten them every year so we hope this year will be no different.

These are almost our exact dates and we are also looking for a room discount. I was worried that they wouldn't have them because of Jersey Week/Election Day/Veterans Day, etc but you have gotten them every year?

Yes, every year we've gotten 20%- 25% off deluxe resorts. We always go the week of Veterans Day as my boyfriend gets the day off as a paid holiday. I'm hoping this year will be the same.

I'm hoping to take DD12 for an early MVMCP from 11/13ish-11/17ish. I went this past November (2015) with a friend and it was so awesome. Time for a girls trip with DD! Are fall discounts only offered on deluxe or are mods also included? Looking for room-only discount not free dining. Also awaiting airline prices and options... Allegiant and a rental car (we're in Maine and that is generally the best choice for us) but we're also open to flying Cape Air to Boston, then Jet Blue to MCO and taking ME. Of course the flights will dictate where we stay. Allegiant and car = freedom to stay anywhere, flying into MCO = will stay on the resort loop. And the third thing I'm waiting for are the actual MVMCP dates. The waiting for info is frustrating, I have zero patience.

We also attended MVMCP this past year and loved it! We are hoping to go back 11/4 or 11/11 so that we can catch it again. Looking at the past dates and stalking the calendar for this year, it seems like the 1st date should be Tues 11/8, and then also on 11/10, 11/11, 11/13, 11/15, 11/17, 11/18, and so on!
