Rather than explain the reason for these questions, I'll just ask in hopes you all can help me.

1. When are the Christmas decorations completely in place in both the resorts
and parks?

2. How are the crowds the first two or three weeks of November?

3. How much do the Pop Warner and Cheerleading events effect the crowd
factor in the parks?

1. The x-mas Deco in the resorts and parks are usually fully up by 2nd weekend in Nov.

2. The Food and Wine Festival ended this year the 2nd weekend of Nov. And I am assuming this will remain in place again for next year as well. So usually the last weekend of F&W is a little busy, cause the locals go.

3. The PW and Cheer have very little effect on the parks its just the hotels they have the big impact. Dont get me wrong you will still see them in the parks in groups but it has very little effect.

Thanks Goofy, exactly what I needed to know. We wanted to go the first week of Dec. but were afraid all those kids would make park crowds even heavier, as for the hotel, as I understand it they stay in Value & Mods, and we stay at the Poly. If they really don't have a great impact on the parks, we'll probably still go early Dec.

The cheerleaders don't have much of an impact on the parks. Early December isn't crowded in the parks at all.

It's not the park they affect, wait til you're on a bus with 20 of them!! :cheer2:

Just to warn you. We just got back from WDW and were very surprised at the crowds. (A three hour wait for Soarin' and no fastpasses!!!). Turns out the first full week of November is when the New Jersey state teachers have some sort of conference so the entire school-age population migrates to Orlando for the week. It was very crowded, but the "Disney magic" works because we still enjoyed ourselves. We just rolled with the punches (and the shoves of the strollers, haha) and got fastpasses for attractions, went early or late in the day, and looked for attractions with shorter lines. You can always find something wonderful to do even if there are long stand-by lines for the big headliners. That's the wonder of Disney. Still, if you have a choice, just check out when this "New Jersey" week occurs next year.
