Thank you Zoom I was hoping someone would finally send me a link. That made my day.
Well to all I am almost done with my FE. Have been doing things inbetween, but I just have one more pocket to sew on and some little extra things to do. Wasn't as bad as I thought and believe me I have not been in front of a sewing machine since , well I don't want to date myself at this time. Hopefully I'll be able to post it tomorrow when I get home from work. I found a link that has a tutorial on posting a pic in Photobucket.

Hey everyone and Welcome stiners and DCL Cruise Luvr.
The name is WendyJersey, but you were close. The Martini's were just not to our liking. I don't think any of us were Martini's drinkers anyway, but I thought when I first started drinking Scotch that it was bad, but by the fourth sip I was fine. The Martini's were just not in the cards for me. Wow three shots. Hummmmm better order one the next time I'm out to see if I can drink it that way, but you can still count me in and I'm hoping TigerTink will come also. We are really in the count down stage. I'm trying not to think about it as it will come so fast and then it will be over and that's the part I hate. Well, let me run have to get a cake for my nephew's birthday.

So here is my take on the martini tasting: I like the flavored martinis and not the traditional, so in that selection I didn't like the traditional ones that were provided to taste. They also had the apple and chocolate martini which were good but way to strong for my taste. I had never had them that strong before, which was the major problem I had.
Wine tasting: There are many different classes to go to and I think we just went to the wrong one. I'm not much for dry wine and seemed like all the ones we tried just puckered my mouth. Parents just came from Disney Panama cruise and tried the german wine tasting which they loved. So its all about getting in the class you will fit your taste.
My Aunt and I did tequila tasting on the Disney med repo and loved it so the shots of tequila aren't a problem and I assumed since that is the major ingredient they would go over a little of that. To bad there isn't more margarita drinks though. I'm still up for going though. My Df will probably not go since he is not a drinker but WendyJersey and I should have a blast!!

Counting down the days, since its the same count down to start the finish the dissertation and start the new job. Another celebration cruise for me!!

Just a quick note as I'm getting ready to leave for work in a few minutes. Everyone is doing fine. Love your new pic you look great in it. I don't know whether she is doing a trip report that is public, but what she sent to us each day was great. She is a good writer. Wish you could be here that would be fun to see you again. Has anyone else have problems with IKE? Our community had a lot of power outages, downed trees. At work, we still don't have 3phase power, so none of our big machines will work. Can't finish the job without electricity!

How wonderful to hear from you. So much has happened and continues to happen that a trip report would not be likely. I have may many funny stories to tell and embelish. Sounds like we need to plan another cruise together.

The wine tasting on the PC Repo was a special one. The standard one on the ship "Stem to Stern" does not have the sweeter wines.

As for the celebration on this cruise. I will be very happy and proud when you defend. I will even join you and Wendyjersey for the drink of the day.

Yes we will have a blast and when we are done with the tasting we can always go to the Cove for some more. Yeah!!!!!

I have been busy with moving (for work) and planning the wedding vow renewal on Castaway that I have not had time to post. I have Palo brunch booked, but am still working on Palo dinner.

I do have all the stuff we need for the FE and just need to make one more FE.

I am looking forward to seeing WendyJerseys FE. Good job!

To add to my list I now have to pre-plan funeral arrangements for the in-laws. Seems that in this town the corerner will not come pick up the body unless it is a suspicious death They figure at the age of 86 it is unlikely it is suspicious, so you have to call a funeral home to have the body picked up. Please do not misunderstand. I am not planning or expecting them to depart, but I cannot leave life to chance while I am gone. We took them on the PC Repo, but they are not really interested in going again. Seems we are to mean and will not let MIL eat her weight in doughnuts. I figure when her blood sugar was almost 400 that something had to go. It was either the doughnuts or overboard. Seeing how no one has ever disappeared from a Disney ship, I did not want that to be her legacy.

OMG it worked I can't believe I got it to go. It was a little tricky but it went. Let me know your thoughts, remember be gentle it is the first sewing thing I have ever started and completed.

Thanks Stitch's O'hana . I couldn't believe I could do it. Thank goodness I had my son around to show me how to work the bobbin and rethread the machine in case something happened. He and his fiance recently made jackets and her outfits for their group which goes to Baltimore every year for an Anime Convention called Otakon. They go in costume. I can't believe how well they did. She can sew well and my son just picked it up in the last year or so. It is amazing that he can do what he does. I barely can work the machine. He also was doing some of the embrodering on the reg sewing machine which took forever until she brought her embrodery machine that he bought her here and that made all the difference. You download from your computer to the embrodery machine set it up and the machine does the rest. It frees you up to work on other things. If anyone knows about Anime they were dressed from the Gundum series. There are 3 dif series and they dressed as the middle series. But I digress.......I only had to call on him once when the bobbin ran out and then he showed me how to to it. At that point I only had about 5 min worth of sewing left, figures.
The pics I got online somewhere and printed them out and did iron on tranfers something I never did and is so easy. The last pic was done while watching a slide show of pics. I really wanted the pic of Wendy, but as I pressed print button the pic of Wendy and Peter also flashed on and I go both superimposed. I was surprised and was going go for it again when I thought this looks like Wendy is dreaming about her and Peter together, so I kept it. My extent of abilities is sewing buttons on when they fall off and an ocassional fix a hem that falls apart. When I'm done I pray the button and hem stay put forever.
The handle is made with little stars threaded onto the wire and through a dowl. That was my DH's contribution. The handle appears to big so I think Ill have my DH cut it down an inch as the extender slides to much and than it hangs slightly crooked. I used as a guide the FE that was recently posted with the white polka dotted red pockets. I think it belonged to the Morgan's.
It is finished and I'm happy with it and it follows my Wendy theme.
I haven't been on a sewing machine since, well lets put it this, it has been a long, long, time. Maybe I'll start using it again.

Well, I'll wish everyone a happy Sunday. Now I have to get back to laundry, cleaning and bills. Ugh! (How can I mention those awful three things at such a happy place as this! ) Have to get it all done by the end of the day.
