Yeah, rightIt's 8:30 on Monday morning and I am back from Donna. I still spend each weekend there but do so after monitoring the roads to see if I can get there and get back.
Today it is just above freezing and is drizzling. If it starts to freeze it will be an ice scating rink out there so I better get my erronds done. I have some Christmas gifts (candy etc.) to deliver and I figured today was a good day to do that. It's rough being retired.

Tracy, I feel for you with a job you didn't like. I have had three jobs in my adult life and couldn't complain about any of them. The last one I stayed for 26 years and didn't retire until I was 72 because I liked the people I was working with and the job and couldn't see staying home alone and looking at four walls. Also, the extra money I made helps pay for cruises and trips to Disney.
Better get my gifts put together and get on the road.
Bonnie
26 years in ONE JOB?!!!!! I, on the other hand, have had 26 jobs, and retired at 60 because I couldn't stand the last one and didn't feel like looking for another one

You didn't retire until you were 72? YOU"RE 72???!

Disney Cruise Line® is not the first to do a Baltic Cruise. But where they are the first is in their arrangement of exclusive access to the Catherine Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia to hold a series of Royal Balls for guests on Disney Cruise Line voyages.
Cinderella will be on hand along with Snow White and Belle.
These private functions at the summer residence of Russia's Royal family, will take place in the evenings. The palace will be closed to those not attending the Balls. The Balls will include live musicians and "royal courtiers" in period costumes and powdered wigs who will lead passengers in song and dance.
Other cruise lines have offered special events at the palace before, but never has there been one this elaborate. The princesses and their princes arriving by horse-drawn carriages will entertain guests in the gilded Grand Ballroom.
WOW! Kathy, that's AMAZING!
