Okay, one question I have for you about the wristbands....

Is there anyone who prefers to pay via paypal instead of sending a check or money order? That will affect the price. I'm trying to figure out how the amounts, and it will be more if you pay via paypal to cover the costs. Paypal charges me 2.9% plus 30 cents per transaction. Should I give you a paypal price and a non-paypal price and then you can decide? I've got to get the envelopes and calculate shipping before I can get a final price. It will be in the $2-$3 range like I originally said. I don't think we'll get the quantity discount for 100 wristbands, but we will get the discount for 50-100.

Shauna,

If it is easier I can just send you a money order. No worries here. Have a good day!

Shauna,
I prefer to send a check or money order. I dont have a paypal account and have no desire to have one. I dont mind if i pay a little extra even, just prefer to send a check to you,
Thankyou.

Makes no difference to me!

(Do you accept Disney Reward Dollars? LOL... kidding!):lmao:

Boy am I behind!! Been a busy couple of weeks here, I seem to be meeting myself coming and going. :confused3 Don't ask me what I have been doing, cause I am not real sure myself, but between grandkids and working all the time, I am staying busy.
Traci, glad you and Nate are feeling better. Congrats on the new car!! I agree with everyone, you have done a wonderful job of keeping up with the FE list so far, so please don't feel bad!!
Gail, great shots of your boys playing soccer, and I agree with everyone, Earl of Sandwich is a great place to eat. I personally love their tomato soup!! And the Chinese Chicken salad is also great. As for the sandwiches, we have never had one that we didn't like. But save room and go get a sundae at G's (yep, I don't know how to spell it either)
Kathy, I feel for ya with the dogs, we used to have a pair of Malamutes, and let me tell you, when they would take off, there was no way to hold them. I was like you, I just let go of the leash and prayed for the best. Then we had a greyhound and the same thing, don't let her see a cat!:scared1: You'd think they used cats to train them to run. Mine would actually run after cats, rabbits, squirells, anything small.
Welcome to all who have joined since I last posted. :welcome:
I have been working on FE gifts, I will do a few more for any who join after today, as for the cut off, I agree, I will just make up enough for those who sign up as of a certain date, and then will take a few things for anyone who join afterwards. We will be leaving here the week before the cruise, so that will probably be my last day to make things.
I do have a question about the scrap page exchange. I was under the impression that we were making one page and then putting it together for a swap? Is everyone doing enough of the same page for everyone? So we would be putting together 7-10 pages? Just trying to think if I can come up with a creative idea, not a problem to duplicate the page, but be forwarned, I am a beginner so my idea may not be as creative as some of yours. But count me in, if you don't mind a simple design. Just let me know how many pages I need to make. I will have to think about what I would like to use for a subject, maybe embarkation day? Let me know what you guys think.
Well, I need to go pack my lunch for tomorrow. Talk to everyone later.
Vickie

Hi Vickie

I love the idea of embarkation day for a theme... I am also a fairly simple scrapbooker, so no worries. It's for fun.
You can do a page for each person, or you can do a little kit of things that would make a page. Some people were concerned about trying to travel with a page, that it would be damaged on the way, so there will be some kits and some pages. Whichever you want to do is great.

Hi Shauna

Paypal might be easiest for me, just because of the US dollars factor... I suspect you dont' want to be paid in Canadian dollars?? :rotfl2:
I can easily get a US dollar money order though if you prefer. :flower3:
Thanks for organizing this.

Shauna,

Either way is fine by me. Let me know. And shipping to either MA or NJ whichever is easier for you too.

Thanks for all your hard work.

Krista

Shauna, I also do not have a paypal account. So would prefer to send either check or money order whichever you would prefer.
Thanks everyone for letting me change my scrap page, I will be figuring out the page layout this week and shop for the stuff this weekend. I have some questions, I understand that we are to design a page, are we doing a 12x12? And if we plan to put the stuff for the page in a bag so that it doesn't get ruined, how is everyone to know where to put the stuff on the page? I know I am confused. :confused3 Sometimes I think I need things written in crayon so that I understand. I am really sorry for all of the questions about this, and I have an idea for the page, just not sure how it is going to work. Please someone, write it in crayon for me. :thanks:

OOOPPPSSS...Laurie, I must have been typing my last question when you posted this. This makes it easier. Thanks.

Good Morning Shauna,

The order for Donna and Bonnie is correct. We would much prefer sending you a check or money order because we don't have Pay Pal either. However, we are leaving for Disney World tomorrow and won't be back until next Tuesday so it will be that long before we find out how much to send. I don't want you to think it's not coming if it's a week late.

Thanks so much for all the work you are putting into this.

Bonnie

Shauna - I am right there with everyone on the check or money order thing. You just let me know and I will get one in the mail.

Well, the wedding is getting closer. We worked on favors last night - they had wine glasses engraved with 2 hearts and their names, we put Hershey's kisses in them and wrapped them in cellophane. They are all done and back in the boxes to take the Frankenmuth. We leave on Friday so I won't post over the weekend (or until I get back on Sunday anyway) and will get pictures out as soon as I can.

Ok, I'm going to be really detailed here on how I'm going to do it. You DO NOT have to do the same. (I scrap more like an engineer than an artist, so simple is key. these are not pages for a magazine, lol)

I had an idea for how to have a page for miscellaneous "scraps" that one always manages to collect on a cruise - room keys, diningroom tickets, excursion tickets, cards that come with flowers and on board gifts, return addresses from cards you might get from fellow cruisers, notices of shows, stickers etc.

Because this page requires a bit of complicated assembly, and the major component is the same size as a 12 x 12 page, I AM going to assemble that part of it to a page. Then I have cut the title letters, and the other parts.
I will totally assemble MINE, complete with title and components and photograph it.

I can print 10 small copies of mine on a sheet of paper and cut them up. So, my "page kit" will consist of an example layout (the photo of my finished page), the assembled background, and the component parts - title, pocket, brads whatever is required. I will pack each page kit in either a big ziplock bag or one of those "papertaker" thingy's or a celephane envelope that paper sometimes comes in. (recycling is good)

IF your page ingredients are not 12 x12 like mine, you can just put the ingredients in whatever size bags they will fit in. If you want to include a sketch of your idea - or a picture of your own page completed, you can. If you don't that's ok too. No two people's pages ever looke exactly the same anyway. Oh, and please put a label in or on your bag so we know who made what. I will say in my book that so and so created the components for this page.

Good enuF?

Good morning fellow cruisers,

Poured rain all night and is still raining. Can't wait for the warm islands we are going to visit soon!! Tomorrow is October 1st already. So we are almost to the one month mark:yay::yay::yay:

Kathy:upsidedow

I called DCL today and found out that we were moved to main dining, so if anyone was on the wait list they should be able to find out now. Now I have no more surprises and just have to wait patiently.

WOW! We've had a "cold snap" here in Central Florida. It was in the mid-60's this moring and "only" in the mid-80s this afternoon! :upsidedow Guess Fall must be on the way. Actually the cool air felt really good... it even inspired me to go for a walk instead of hitting the elliptical.

Hope everyone had a great day. Only 5 1/2 weeks to go! Darn, it's time to get BUSY with dress shopping and FEs!

It's cold here too.

Yesterday was warm, 70s and 80s. Today is in the 40s. I really wish we could have a gradual cool down. I love 70s and 60s. 40s and rain is just no fun. Oh well, at least I know the cruise is coming up so I can enjoy the warmth and sunshine again in JUST OVER A MONTH!

I'm going to get the wristbands ordered later on today, and then am going to try to make it to the paper store for the envelopes and then the post office to estimate shipping. Payment info will be sent out as soon as I have it. What I'll do is tell you the cost (assuming that you'll be doing check or money order) and then if I know you are doing paypal (like Laurie), I'll figure out the paypal fees and let you know. Sound good?

40's here too - I don't think it made it to 60 today. I hate going out to the gym in the dark brrrrrrrr

Anybody get your docs yet?

Linda, you are a genius. :worship: I love this idea. I think I will do the same. Or I might break down and put all of the pages together if I can think of a clever way to bring them and keep them nice and flat.
