Hi Everyone

Wecome Mike! We are glad to have you in our little group. :grouphug:

I have started to compile the scrapbook swap list on page 90, so please let me know if you are interested in participating and your name is not there. Also please choose a theme so that we can minimize duplication. Even if you have so far not said you'd like to participate, please join in if you are interested. :lovestruc

Donna, I will bring the water wings for you, no problem at all. You should probably remind me close to our sail date though. ;)

I will be very happy when this busy month of September is over. I have October pretty free so I will be busy doing all the prep for the cruise. My FE is made, but the gifts are not... lots to do there.
We have thanksgiving in October here, how odd that must seem to you, but anyway... it is going to throw a wrench into my obsessive cruise planning and preparations!:mad: At least it is only one weekend.

I hope everyone is having a great night.

Hi Goofytraci:

I just checked the FE list on page 29 and didn't see our name added? Maybe you just haven't gotten to it yet, but just in case....please add:

Donna, Bonnie, Hannah (8), Samantha (5)

I just got an email from my MOm and she is working on our FE gifts as we speak! (so to say...)

My favorite thing to do on sea days is pool, hot tub, sitting on a lounge chair with a good book, and attending the culinary demos.

Donna

I have been sick with the flu and will update both list tomorrow as I am waiting for someone else to send me the info so I can just update it all at once. I will notify the group when the list is updated.

Hope everyone has a great night.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Another busy day in the neighborhood. Need to bake a carrot cake for tomorrow's party, and do a small mountain of laundry. That's all i'm planning on, although if I have time, I'll cut out the evening bags I'm planning to make for our trip (couldn't find one to buy that I was willing to pay the price for)

Laurie, thanks for doing the list for the SB pages - helps to know how many we need to make! Maybe I'll do page planning today. I looked at my old albums and those pages had WAY more stuff collected than I remember.'

DVC'ers in the past have received a clever little spiral bound book on board, about 5 inches x 9 inches called "captain's log". I've been trying to figure out a way to use that as my scrapbook. One difficulty is so many of the pages I wouldn't want to paste anything over what's already there. Anyone know if or how i could add pages to a spiral?

PS. Mike, I left you a little "hint" over on your trip report.

Happy friday everyone, well we are one week closer to the cruise:goodvibes

Heading out of town this afternoon as usual.
I hope everyone has a great weekend.

I will check back after we get back on Sunday evening.

Traci, hope your doing better now:thumbsup2

I am working on my FE gifts this morning while the laundry is going. Then will pack up for the weekend.

Kathy

Safe travels Kathy. We will try and keep us on the front page.

We are heading to Alma tomorrow and again on Sunday for 2 soccer games (youngest DS) but that is all I have on tap. Sounds actually like I will be in the car most of all. But, the gas is less expensive than boarding the dog and getting a hotel.

Hi all!

I just got back from High School Musical Summer Celebration tour with DD. She loved it and I thought it was pretty darn good too. thanks to my obsessiveness, we had front row seats, so DD was able to shake hands with a couple of the cast members, which made her day. It was a great show.

I am so glad that this work week is over, what a long exhausting week it's been. Saturday is almost here! My sister's son is being baptized on Sunday, so that will take up most of the day. Saturday will be busy with DS & DD karate, grocery shopping, laundry and all that fun stuff.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Enjoy the soccer game, Gail! Are you having cooler weather there? It's still so blasted hot here. DD has a soccer game on Saturday...her first game of the season...and Stew and I will have to miss it. She is none too happy! We'll both be working our son's school golf tournament tomorrow. It's our school's biggest fundraiser, so we've been doing stuff all week to help with the final prep. I'm the official staff photographer :rotfl: so I'll be taking pictures, then running the kids' putting and chipping competiton. DS won last year!

So I'm off to bed since I need to be at the club at 6 am! I'll check in on Sunday and see how everyone's weekend has been.

Kathy- happy travels, hope you went somewhere fun. Laurie, enjoy the baptism! Traci, hope you are finally feeling better.

Christine

It has been my opinion of gorgeous for the last 2 weeks. Our days have been in the 70's and our nights have been dipping to the 40's and 50's. Last night we had a freeze warning - none here but it is a nippy 34 right now so probably some did get hit. The skies are clear blue and we are supposed to get to 72 today. Alma is south of here and they are forecasted for partly cloudy and 72. Guess I may toss in a jacket just in case but i doubt that I will need it unless the breeze picks up.

I will second Christine - Kathy - enjoy your weekend, Laurie - blessings on the baptism and Traci - I sure hope you are back to normal. And Chirstine - I hope the tournament was a rounding success!

I forgot - what willl YOU be doing seven weeks from today??? We will have to be up and moving (or I will be anyway) since we have to pick up the rental by 9:00. We won't get to the port until around 1:00 if we follow our normal schedule. Then board, lunch in PC, drop our stuff off in our cabin, meet everyone in the PL, unpack in there somewhere along with the drill, show, dinner, walk on the decks, pool time. My, my, what a busy girl!

Good Morning, everyone!

Safe Journey, Kathy.

Good luck to the kids on all the games and tourneys!

Happy Day, everybody.

Hey guys,

The FE list is current and updated on page 29. SOrry it took so long. I am not feeling 100% yet and now Nathan has it too. I was up all night with him and his 101 fever. This stuff is pretty bad.

ANyway hope everyone is doing ok let me know if anything needs to be changed.

Do you think it was swine flu, Traci? Glad you are feeling better, but sorry that Nathan is now ill.

Had a birthday dinner here last night. Made carrot cake and grilled bison kebabs. After dinner we went back out and sat around the fire pit until it was deep dark and even the blankets I had put on the chairs were insufficient to stave off the chill.

Today, it's back to the gym and pool, and probably more yard work. not very interesting!

Happy Sunday everyone!!!!

Welcome Mike and family.

Weathers getting cooler so does this mean the cruise is around the corner? I need warm weather again.

Girls...I wish I could scrapbook but no creative bone in my body.

All passports have arrived. Shirts for boarding have been ordered. Still working on magnets and FE. And now starting to pack since Im bringing out the fall/winter clothes. Hoping to accomplish alot this week since no Girl Scouts this week.

I have no idea if it is the swine flu. I know that sounds terrible. I was so sick I didnt ask and they just said I had the flu. I still feel not so good and cant bear the thought to go to work tomorrow and now Nate is sick. I might get fired for being out so long and being out with him. I did get a note from my doc but him now sick with it...Youd think since we work in healthcare that they would understand but they dont.

Yes, you would think they would understand, especially since you probably got it there! And nothing like possibly taking it back. Sometimes, I really don't understand what management thinks.

I hope you are feeling better and that Nate is right as rain soon as well - I have always thought children get over things faster than adults do.

I hope everyone has had a pleasant weekend. Alma won their game, DH is at his scout meeting and I am home - gonna have a "play date" with the washing machine I think.

I am home - gonna have a "play date" with the washing machine I think.

That does NOT sound like fun!

I've been cleaning out my "favorites" list. That's not fun either, but man did it need it! It's going to take me weeks to finish. Just spent an hour and a half on one topic.

SoKay, you're doing magnets and fe gifts so I refuse to believe you are not creative.

Got my evening bags cut out AND took a 2 hour nap.
Have a good night!

Help Request!!!!

Can anyone tell me info on shipping a box to ship prior to cruise? I've been looking around all day and can't find anything. My brain is now tired. I know i found it on the WD info link but cant find it today.

Thanks
