Yes...we do have 14 staterooms....So excited about the time ticking down. I guess it will seem real when Nov comes and I am too excited to sleep. Have a good night all and let me know if anyone has any other questions or changes to the FE.

Bumping back to page one.

Well, the first of the Lindamood weddings is next weekend - DS#2. They got engaged on the Magic but I could not convince them to get married there, or on Castaway although I sure did try. I am next week to get ready but will pop in now and then.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Enjoy Gail! Hope everything is magical, even if it's not happening on the ship!

Ok guys...this thread has been super dead lately. What is up with everyone? Whats new?

I am just super busy with work and very tired these days. Keeping the secret is a little easier now that I have my DBF to talk to about it. I am so excited he is able to come.
It has been so hot here that my grass is dead.:sad2:

Anyway just wanted to check in, say hello and see what everyone is up to. Have a great weekend!!!!:hippie:

I'm new to the whole DISboard thing and I've become super obsessed with the creative boards. I was up until 5 this morning looking at all the different designs. I may have the most pimped out door on the ship;)

BUMPing us back up to page one... sheesh!

We just got back from our cross-country roadtrip. So fun!! The kids didn't kill each other, either. After a day the dog decided she didn't want to ride in the crate anymore, so she wedged herself (all 70 pounds of Labrador) between the kids in the backseat.

So now I'm back to planning my cruise!! Haha. I found a great car rental rate. We plan on renting for Thurs-Sat pre cruise, and on Sat-Sun post cruise. We're going to do Kennedy Space Center on Saturday, stay another night in Cocoa Beach, then drive up to WDW on Sunday. I just wish I knew if DH could stay with us at WDW or not... his last boss said NO, only one week of vacation (well, a week and a day, since one day is Veteran's Day holiday) even though he has 4 weeks. Sigh. New boss said, "maybe".... grr wish she would hurry up and say YES! So we can book our flights. We just bought DVC and I'll be sad to stay there without DH. Poor guy.

Back to the cruise... I've been looking at Trunk Bay on St. John. Has anyone else done that before? I would consider booking it myself, or maybe through Disney. I am still undecided about St. Croix as well. I really want to snorkel, but DH is concerned we'd pay all this money and have DS decide he doesn't want to. :rolleyes1 He was pretty hesitant to snorkel last year at CC, but it was much colder than I anticipate it will be in St. Croix.

Has anyone else gone over the new Magic menus? I thought they looked pretty good. I think I will book Palo for the night of the Golden Mickeys. Has anyone else picked out Palo dates and times yet?

Christine

Good Morning, Everbody!

We tend to do Palo on Pirate night - i'm not overly fond of the menu nor the entertainment that night.

We might rent a car in St. Croix - or I might send dh snorkling while I stay on the ship.

We'll have another couple with us and they have two small kids, so excursions are out since neither of the children is old enough.

Wonder how the first Lindamood wedding went . . .

Hey all, checking in here, too.:flower3:

A seemingly non-stop flow of visitors has been interfering with my DIS Board time. I don't know where all these people come from.... I don't even invite anyone. They just call (hopefully, most of the time) and say they're coming. Geesh.... ;) The current visitors leave early Thursday and then I have a whole 8 days before the next set arrives.

Apparently this is a hazard of living in Central Florida!:cool1:

Hope everyone is doing well. I can't wait to have time to get to planning the cruise. Of course, I've got neighbor Ashley (literally, she's about 4 houses away) hooked here on the boards so maybe she'll get some of it done for me!:cutie:

Too cute:cutie:..your post really made me laugh. And I sure needed it. Hope everyone is doing well. Can't wait to get going with this cruise. I need to kick back with a fruity drink.:cool2:

Checking in to see how everyones summers are so far......It's finally getting warm up North and got to Newport, RI this weekend. Been lazy for over a week with my daughter staying with my family in NJ. Miss the munchkin but getting alot of stuff done before she returns.

:cool1: Enjoy the Sun!!!:cool1:

Nice!!!!! It's great to have a little time to yourself. What are you getting done? Just general house stuff, or any fun projects?

I was at Newport Beach, Ca today... ahhhhhh the best beach weather ever! Plus, it was a dog beach I didn't even know existed. SO fun! My Lab loved it and even tried to swim waaayyy out in the surf with my DD who was bodysurfing. It's been 100+ every day at home so getting out to the beach where it's just 80 is fab-u-lous! Although I did comment that I am looking forward to that warm Caribbean sea!

I went to the beach today with a friend, who is going on a Land/Sea trip the same week we are on our cruise. We did the Land and Sea last year, talked so much about it afterwards, our friends have booked it this year. :cool1:So I finally got someone to talk Disney to!!! LOL. I think my family is tired of it (except the kids, of course!).

I'm wondering about the Lindamood wedding too! I hope it all went beautifully.

Christine

I'm glad to hear everyone's summer is going well. :yay:

I may live in Florida but believe me I can't wait to get on this cruise.:sail: This is my first summer being a stay-at-home Mom and I can't believe how much work it is. I only have one DS and I don't know how Mom's with multiple kids do it. I don't even know how I did it when I worked. Donna can attest to my pre-summer panic that I wasn't going to have enough to do. :scared: Much to my chagrin my panic was completely unfounded!! I can barely find time to brush my teeth! (I do so don't worry):thumbsup2

We may be going on a Disney cruise but I am in desperate need of some adult time. I know Donna feels my pain.
