I've been checking out the ship layout and it looks like Joe, Hannah, and Joey will be our closest neighbor from the FE group on the ship. We are on one side of the ship and you are on the other.....with the elevators between us.

Maybe we will see you guys at the elevators a time or two. We usually try to get the girls to lay down for a little while after lunch so they can stay up a little longer at night. Are we the only one who does that or do more of you?

Really he does. He will be napping on deck 4 and you will see me wondering the ship doing trivia or crafts or something while he sleeps. Otherwise by 9 he is out of it

I found this thread with step by step details on how to do iron on transfers. The list looks long but dont let it scare you. It really is only a couple of steps.

thanks for posting the links. Your right they are really easy to do. My error was forgettting to do the mirror imaging so my first one years ago was backwards You dont have to be crafty or artistic to do this.
I think your logos are on page 125, for anyone wanting to see them.

I even made large letters one year and put my posting name on the back of my shirt for people to recognise me.

Gail will NOT be wearing a t-shirt but I promise to be presentable (and that would be TMI in more ways that one). You will just have to look for my wristband to find us. We don't ever arrive at the port until after 12:30 or so anyway so we won't be around to meet up.

Remember that we talked about getting together for lunch on Thursday - I have heard from a few and it isn't a big deal but if you are considering, let me know.

OK - now I am going to bug out. The FE table is calling my name so I best be responding so there are no fire drills to get them all completed. Any of you watch Dancing with the Stars???

Yes we have been a funny group today. Linda hope you are feeling better. Kathy I bought the transfer sheets from amy mickey and I dont have to flip or mirror the image. I am going to try and work on somethings tonight but I am so tired. I know you guys r going to think I'm a total newbie on this one but I am totally starting to get nervous and worried I am not going to get everything done. Yes I know its a vacation but. I keep having dreams about crazy stuff that I left behind. Yes Matt I had no clothes. And one dream they wouldnt let me on the ship. I am a worry wart right now and not really sure why. I am not normaly like this before vacations but maybe bc this is all new to me. Help me I am losing my mind and hope to not blow my secret.

Yes Gail, I do watch Dancing With the Stars. I always have a problem on Tuesday just before 10:00 because I want to see who goes home on both Dancing and Biggest Looser. Have to tape one of them.

Happy Monday everyone, even though in a few hours it will be Tuesday. But hey, that means we are one day closer to vacation. It was gorgeous here today!! Perfect fall day.
Found a new dentist, and they took me in as an emergency. Have a crack in another tooth, so it looks like I am looking at two root canals and two crowns I have to go in at 7:15 tomorrow morning so that he can get started. He knows that we are leaving for vacation, and seems to think that with a bit of arm twisting at the lab, he can have them back in time for our trip. If not, I will have to make do with temps. until we get back, cause I'm goin'.
I didn't know that clothes optional either, (although we might be able to clear the ship and have it to ourselves) So I bought navy blue t-shirts for Dan and I and I am going to use the Ahoy St Croix design and put the 09 on the sleeves. That and Khaki shorts will be what we will be wearing.
Got all of the FE gifts done, and finished the scrapbook pages last night. Now I just have to do the shirts and pack.
Shauna, a generic page is fine with me. You have enough on your plate without stressing over that.
Gotta run, I have water areobics tonight

We'll be wearing royal blue nametag t-shirts at the port. I have to get the sizing right before I print on the transfers. We have all sizes of people!

Honey, it's not just NEWBIES that get anxious. Heck, I get nervous before driving to my girlfriends 90 miles a way for the weekend. It's a real tizzy around here before a major trip! But, it all goes away once you're on your way. It will be FINE!

Traci, I know how you feel, I am on one hand ovewhelmed with all that I have to do to get ready and on the other hand thinking that I am a nut for worrying about it in the first place. Plus the rest of our family travelling with us thinks we are lunatics for planning so much.
Anyhoo.. when it comes down to it and we are having so much fun with all of you hilarious people and delivering our FE gifts and having a nice over the door organizer to put our clutter into then we will have the last laugh. Ha!

BTW, my sister lent me the most fabulous shoes to wear on formal night.

I hope that everyone is feeling better soon.
Not too much H1N1 around here, nor the regular flu. Not that I have heard anyway. I heard on the radio today that the vaccine has arrived, but I believe they are only giving it to kids under 5 here as well.

Counting down... trying not to freak out about what I might forget....

Oh MY! I see the crowd has the pre-cruise panic sillies today! I love the chatter! And, I'm also pleased to see the group has unanimously decided to wear CLOTHES. Excellent direction you're moving in!

I think for those of you doing a little bit of stressing that it's a GOOD thing. It means you're going to be ready by the time the cruise gets here. My problem tends to be a bit of procrastination. With multiple cruises behind us, I get comfortable with waiting until the last two weeks and then, BAM, I'm in full stress, panic mode.

As for napping, we try to get everyone to at least rest at some point in the afternoon. This never seems to be much of a problem for DH. And, on the days that the girls join him, I usually take the opportunity to do a little shopping or some other activity.

Gail,
even though you wont get there until after 12:30 you should still be there by 3:00 for the meet or close to it. They usually last 45 minutes. All aboard is by 4:00 I believe. So you should be able to say hello even at the end of the meet.

We wont be getting there until 1:30 to 2:00 since we are coming on the DCL bus from WDW.


Ok I guess its unamious, we will all wear clothes

Yes I know its a vacation but. I keep having dreams about crazy stuff that I left behind. Yes Matt I had no clothes. And one dream they wouldnt let me on the ship.

The other night I dreamed that we got to get an upgrade to a cat 2 on the ship (yeah folks, that's why we call it a dream). My son wouldn't come in the room and kept ringing the bell. Endlessly, and I was really annoyed with him.

And even more annoyed to discover it was my alarm clock!!

I know what Donna is saying about the stress. I am supposed to go scrapbooking this weekend, but DH reminded me that he has to work and it will just be too much. He knows that by Sunday I will be in freak-out mode, what with Halloween costumes still to finish and pumpkins to carve- not to mention I still have lots to do for the cruise, and we're all anxious to start packing and working on our lists of to-do's.

Gail, you better come to the meet! How else will we know you? I don't think any of us want to pass up an opportunity to harass each other as we pass during the week!

Christine, who has FINISHED ALL the FE gifts and is ready to move on to shirts!!

Linda, Oye is right!! Just checking in, got a busy morning ahead of me, a two hour dentist appointment, and then a meeting at work. It is supposed to be a pretty day today, but then get cold again later in the week. Oh well, soon we will be sailing and it will be warm. Take care and have a great Tuesday.

Productive evening last night with the FE's. This cruise is done and the Western is better than half way. They go pretty fast so not too worried - plus DH has been a big help with them too.

Good morning all,

Nice to see few early posts today. Cold and foggy here today but suppose to be nice later on today then rain tonight.
I am with you guys I am already for some warm weather!!

Today I am going to get out our good clothes for the cruise and start washing and drying them, plus ironing which I will wait and do after all of them have been washed.

We got 2 of our door signs printed last night. My computer seems to be getting ready to kick the bucket on me. Its acting up and wont do simple things the last few days, so I had to use Gregs computer to print them.

Tonight i hope we can do the last 2 signs and the iron on transfers for our shirts too. Then I will have it all done so when I am ready to do the shirts it's ready to go!!

12 days until we leave !!! Linda that means 11 days until you leave, right??

You all are too funny. Hope everyone has a good day today! Vickie--good luck at the dentist, hope it all goes well.

DD hasn't had a fever since Sunday so that is definitely good news. She still has a junky cough and it sounds junkier, so I might call the doc and let him know. Maybe she will take a nap today so I can work on stuff for the cruise. Yesterday she napped for only 15 min until I held her and then she slept in my arms so I couldn't get anything done.

It will be fun to see a lot of you with your families in your matching shirts. We'll just be wearing our wristbands.

So, Halloween is next week. I know some of you will be in WDW then--lucky! Anyway, is anyone (those who will be in WDW or also those still at home) going to be a Disney character? DD is going to be Minnie Mouse.

We were just going to wear our wristbands too, Shauna, but then I talked with Nina (she was sewing pirate costumes - she has really gotten into it) and we dcided for the sake of the 'family photo' we'd try to coordinate. Now, she's got the kids thinking that they're doing "backwards" trick or treating with the fish extenders. This is a woman who, in her 20's, wasn't all that interested in kids.

Just checking in at lunch to see whats happening today.
Pretty quiet here.
I have made my way through 2 large suitcases so far and cleaned out my closet to pack away summer clothes but leaving some out for Florida and the cruise. I also went through papers and filled my letter holders Greg put up for me last night.

I have done 4 loads of wash, #5 will start after lunch. Havnt dried any yet, just washed them. I wont do any ironing until I get all the cruise clothes washed so I can do it all at once. Probably tomorrow.
