H1N1 flu shots just arrived here last Thursday. They'll only give the shots to 6months-4 year olds. Then they have the flu mist but that is only for 2 years-24 years. Those who have existing health problems can get it up to age 49. Anyway, I was going to take DD this week to get her shot, guess I won't need to do that now. I was hoping to get my shot before the trip, but I don't think they'll expand who they'll give it to by then because supply is so short. Hopefully I've developed some antibodies just by being around DD.

Christine, we'll look for the bride & groom ears. How fun that you could go to DL this weekend. If you're shipping your box this Wednesday, wouldn't 10 days be Halloween (a week before our trip)? Sending you some pixie dust for perfect weather for your vow renewal on CC.

Mike & Christine--I will mail out your wristbands soon. We won't be going out of the house with DD, so it may be a few days if that is okay. If you are leaving before Halloween for your trip let me know so I can be sure you get them in time. Otherwise I think you'll get them in plenty of time.

To anyone participating in the scrapbook swap--are you okay if my page theme is generic? Something about cruising on the Disney Magic? That way if you have extra pictures for any theme you can use it. Or, do you prefer that I do a specific theme? I haven't started yet, so I'm open to changing.

Shauna, I am feeling your pain. My DD has come down with it too. Been on hold for her MD's office for 13 minutes trying to get an appointment to get Tamiflu. Of course this happens on a week when I have 3 meetings. Guess it's better than her getting sick right before we leave. How is your daughter? Hope she is feeling better!!

Yep, that's how I look at it. Glad it is now and not in 2 or 3 weeks. Yesterday they confirmed that it is H1N1. We are just hanging out at home this week. She is doing pretty well. No high fevers during the night last night so that is an improvement. She just coughed a lot, but seems pretty happy otherwise. Hope you can get your DD on Tamiflu right away and that it can help. I was a bit worried that DD would get sick on the trip, but now I'm not too worried because at least we'll have this over with.

The wrist bands came today...I will see them when I get home tonight But thank you for doing this for us. Also for the swap pls do what you think you would like to or have time to do. Esp with your daughter being sick I know you are short on time. Hope she feels better.

Shauna, that Page idea sounds fine. Just if someone had a firm idea about something they might have wanted to see if anyone else was doing it. Glad I got my pages done and packed before I got sick and lost all energy to do anything but sleep and surf the internet.

Followup with doc tomorrow. I hope I get some energy back soon - even if it wasn't forbidden at the moment, I don't think i have the strength.

Actually we have been trying to decde what to put in our t-shirts for the first day. I like the first Ahoy St. Croix that was posted best, but I also have seen a couple of other designs I like.

I may put a logo on the front and back if i cant decide.

But we will definately have matching t-shirts on the first day. within 2 days i could probably post which design we decided on if youwant to know.

Then if the morning is cool we will have jeans on, otherwise shorts.

Our T- shirts are alight grey. I couldnt find the color i wanted.

We had bought matching pink disney shirts with a Minnie Mouse logo on it before we joined the group. Seeing as neither one of us has a bone of creativity to do a shirt, I think we are wearing those. We will also have the wrist bands on so you will know we are in the group. We are flying to the Orlando Airport the day before and spending that night at the Airport Hotel. The kids are looking forward to some hotel swimming before the ship swimming. Any one else staying at the airport?

Last year we stayed at the Hyatt at the airport and it was really nice.
But this year we are going to WDW for a few days before the cruise.

The pool there is never crowded so the kids will love it

Bonnie now worries...But really you dont need to have creativity to make your own shirt. I posted the design a couple pages back. All you have to do is print it out on iron on transfer sheets for t-shirts and iron it on. Transfer sheets can be found at walmart,target,hobby lobby,office depot,office max. For around 5-7 dollars for a couple of sheets. I picked up white shirts at target and thats it. Let me know if you or anyone else needs help. Some people are doing them and some are not. We always have our Cool wrist bands Shauna hooked us up with.

We are staying at CBR the night before and hope to let Nate swim a bit at the hotel too. Those kiddo's really enjoy that dont they.

I've been checking out the ship layout and it looks like Joe, Hannah, and Joey will be our closest neighbor from the FE group on the ship. We are on one side of the ship and you are on the other.....with the elevators between us.

Maybe we will see you guys at the elevators a time or two. We usually try to get the girls to lay down for a little while after lunch so they can stay up a little longer at night. Are we the only one who does that or do more of you?

I see we have comedians on board today.

I ordered shirts with the Ahoy St Croix logo. Found a great guy on ebay that made 4 adult tshirts, 4 youth and 4 tanks with our names too. He charged me $10 each on white tanks and $12 of yellow tshirts. Which is reasonable for me not having to lift a finger. Turn over is less than week.

We are arriving on Friday AM and staying at the Country Inn Suites near the airport. We are arriving at 10am and they were very accommodating with us arriving before check in and hanging the by the pool till room is ready. And according to the hotel there is a Liqueor Store right across to street to get stocked up for the boat.

Wins yesterday for Patriots 59-0 and Phillies 11-0. WooHoo!!! NOw getting ready for the Phillies tonight. Go Phillies!!!
