How do I find out what room number I am assigned?

How full will the ship likely be on an early November cruise?

Is there a fair chance that I can upgrade to a room with a veranda at the port on the day we sail?

What is the weather like typically in early November?

What is a fish extender gift?

I just sent out a revised list to everyone. My internet was acting up so if you didnt get one, please let me know and I will send out another one to you or if you get 2 lists, just delete one. It kept saying all my addresses were wrong? So I had to do it over and over and over so I may have missed one of you. Sorry.

weather is usually very nice in November, around 80. Usually an afternoon shower for 15 minutes is common.

If you sign onto DCL's website with your confirmation number, it will list your room number once it is assigned. Until then it will just say category 9 guarantee (since you got this cruise free with your DVC add-on). They assign the gty rooms about 4 weeks prior to the sail date, so check then. We are in a gty as well, so as soon as I notice my room has been assigned I will post here and then you'll know to go check if you haven't already.

There is a chance that you can upgrade, but if you really want a veranda, you may want to upgrade prior to sailing so that you aren't disappointed. I'd wait though, at least until you see what room you are assigned. Sometimes DCL will automatically upgrade you (we once had a 12 gty and were upgraded to a 9).

The weather in November is wonderful! Our last Eastern cruise was late October and it was 80s-90s. Great for swimming in the ocean.

Thanks for the info. I am not sure if I want a veranda or not. I don't see myself hanging out in the room too much but on the other hand I am an early riser and always have a couple of hours to myself while waiting for everyone else to get up. It would be nice to read on the veranda in early morning sunshine!

Rick,
deck 4 is a walking deck and it has lots of padded lounge chairs. All hours of the day and night people sit out there and nap or read books and many have a beverage or snack with them.

So if you don't get a verandah, you can go out early and enjoy that. Also many will be on deck 9 enjoying the view of the ocean. As Linda said, Quiet Cove cafe (speciality coffees and pastries) is open early on deck 9.
Free coffee at the drink station although its not too good unless you catch them when they first change to fresh coffee that early. They will often have some pastries set out by goofys galley at 6:30 a.m. too which is 1 minutes walk from the drink station on deck 9. They are free.

Hello Everyone.

Just picked my daughter up from my family in NJ. They had her for 45 days this summer. It was either stay with a sitter or go see Nannie and let her be spoiled. That was a no brainer for her since they took her to Hershey Park, OC maryland, OC NJ and many Phillies games plus bought her new wardrobe for school.

Tommorow is the first day of school so I'm sure it will be a long day for her but on a good note....we go to see the Patriots preseason game against the Giants on Thursday.

Boy, I hope not!!! I've had enough drama with DCL and the CC remodel already. We've been around the block on this one so to speak. I heard a few months ago on the DIS about the CC area around the Heads Up Bar being under construction. Which is where I am having my vow renewal! I was not happy to NOT hear it from DCL. So then I get my DFTW planner involved. She tells me they don't know where I'll have my wedding since there'll be construction. I had a fit. I didn't want to get stuck in front of construction, or be in a crowded area. (They had suggested along the main path by the sailboats. Hello? Character meets next to my ceremony?!) So I sent a strongly worded letter. Um, then suddenly they come back with "no worries, change of plans, we're not starting construction on your site till January."

I didn't notice anything much going on in that area on our May cruise. Noticed lots of construction going on near the pier but not near Heads Up. Either that or I had too many Konk Koolers!

Good morning all,

cold today but headed for low 80's before the rain comes this weekend.

I am still thinking about what to have for FE gifts. This weekend I hope to get a bit of shopping done for them. No stores where i live without a long drive accept a mini mart. I am in the middle of no where.

I am also looking at ideas for my door signs today. I need to get more ink for the printer this weekend. I usually bring 3 or 4 signs.

Seriously Kathy....I know we will have some door signs!Maybe not even too much of the door will be able to show. I know I am a newbie and so excited. But I have door signs for each us with our names and fav characters. ALso on the day of nates b-day I am going to decorate the door for him. And maybe change it up a bit thru out the days.

Maybe we could have a door decorating contest???

Brady has been practicing but Belichick not sure how much if any of his starters he would use in the final exhibition game. I won the tickets thru a raffle so I'm taking my daughter to her first Pats Game on a school nite.
