November 7, 2009 ~~~~ AHOY ST.CROIX ~~~~

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some help. I went online to print my documents, which I'd previously completed, and its now telling me they are overdue and it's not giving me an option to print them. Anyone else experiencing this? I've been getting website errors all morning. Did I just wait to long to print the forms to sign? DCL phone line doesn't open until 8am and I'm freaking out!

PS - I've got a hate on for daylight savings time - my 8 month old is waking at 4am. It looks like we'll be exploring the halls early in the morning on the ship!!!

Thanks for your help,
Wendy

Happy day before the cruise! One more day! We're so excited, I can't even think. Hopefully today will go by fast.
Traci, have an awesome day with your son! We all want to hear about it.

Have safe travels everyone. The weather is beautiful!

Now I have to do laundry and pack, no more procrastination!

No sleep in 26 hours and now flying high in the air. Thank goodness for internet on planes now. Landing in sunny Orlando at 10am.

Vacation mode is officially here....WooHoo!!! Tomorrow can't get here fast enough....:banana::banana:

Can't wait to meet everyone tomorrow!!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Good morning everyone. Yes it is so hard to stay away. I was up so early this morning and before the alarm went off. I am ready to get my packing on. 30 mins till Nate leaves so I can start. I woke up singing and dancing all kinda of crazy songs. Tim just laughs at me. At least I am in a good mood and not being mean and crazy. So a couple of hours and I will spill the beans and we are out of here.

Not sure about printing the forms. Bc I printed mine a couple of days ago. Call DCL and see what they tell you. Sorry I am no help.

Can't wait to meet you guys.

Hi All! We are in the Detroit airport for a 4 hour layover. Hannah and Samantha are franticallly trying to finish their homework before our vacation even starts! It appears to be a great day for flying. Happy travels everyone. See you all Saturday.

Have a great cruise, everyone - just saw this thread today, wish I had seen it earlier.

My parents lived on St. Croix for a number of years, and combining a Disney Cruise with this beautiful island will be a treat for you all.

If you get a chance, try and get to Turtle Beach on Green Cay. My wife and I got married on a catamaran there, and it is one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen.

Also, there are (or at least were the last time I went there) horses you can ride just a few minutes outside of Frederiksted at a place called Jill's Equestrian. They have some nice riding trails with beautiful views (of course - the views are beautiful all over the island).

Sandy Point is another gorgeous beach - it is pretty remote, though, so keep your eyes on your valuables there.

The rum factory tour is fun if you are interested in such things, and the staff is always very friendly (they were extremely - perhaps a bit too - generous with the free samples the morning of my wedding...Hey, I couldn't see my wife before the wedding, and we had some time to kill!)

If you want to snorkle or scuba dive, the trip to Cane Bay is well worth it - there is an underwater drop off that is spectacular.

Also, a trip through the rain forest would be a treat. Stop in at the Domino Club to watch the beer drinking pigs (non-alcoholic, these days, after one of the original pigs overindulged and wandered off...) or try their "moonshine"...But only if you are very brave!

Most of all, have fun, everybody....My next DCL trip is less than two months away, and I'm bursting with anticipation!!

Good morning. I cannot sleep! My alarm was set for 6:15 and I woke up at 4:15am.:surfweb: I tried to go back to sleep, but I decided to get up and start my day rather than toss and turn! I was so glad to see that Linda was already up too!

Linda~Do you live in Florida? Looks like the weather is going to be beautiful in Orlando today...close to 80 degrees. It is a balmy 33 degrees here right now:eek: The kids are going to be a little chilly with their shorts on, but they are so excited maybe they won't notice the frost!

No we live in upstate NY, but we drove down last weekend to spend some time with my cousins in Jax. It's in the 70s today.

I think you'll probably have to fill them in at port now - I think the website won't let you in during the last 24 hours.

You couldn't be mean, Traci, you are a SWEETIE! Oh, man, I can't WAIT to hear how your son took the news:rotfl2:

We're here at the residence inn in Port Canaveral at the moment. It was a beautiful day, and warm but not too hot.

Hey all -

Welcome to Florida to many of you! So glad everyone is arriving safely!

As for documents, yes, the online registration shuts you out just before the cruise. It's okay, just fill out the forms that are in the cruise document booklet. It's all the same thing.

Weather is GORGEOUS here this week ... upper 70s to near 80 daytime, about 60 at night.

I'm SOOOO excited.... in 18 hours I'll be slurping my strawberry soup in Parrot Cay! Ahhhhhh....:cloud9:

Ok, guess I really ought to try to get the packing done. I'm Queen of Procrastinating! Then again, we only have a 45 minute drive to the Port in the morning.

See you all in the terminal! We'll have our green bracelets on... and clothes, too! :thumbsup2

Hello all!

Sorry I've been gone for a while...husbands grandmother died so we went up to ohio to be with family. Tommorrow is an early day Jax to Port Canaveral!! See you all soon!!!

Just made it home to Orlando from Gainesville, back together with my parents. Can't believe it is tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you all. I hope I can get some sleep tonight, lol.

I see a race brewing here of who can get the LEAST amount of sleep!
We're gonna be one sleepy bunch of DISers!

BTW, this is what my two girls look like right now....:Pinkbounc:Pinkbounc

Well, I have decided that I am way too involved in stuff at home and it has majorly affected my ability to be organized for my vacations!

I filled out all my boarding stuff but forgot to print them. I am pretty sure it's not a huge deal except for the fact that my DH usually returns the car while I check in, by the time he gets back from the rental we are sitting somewhere waiting to board.

Also, can someone tell me where our cruise meet is going to be? I have been searching for it on here but I cannot seem to locate it:).

I swear the next cruise I take I am going to be more organized! This was ridiculous with all I had to do before this trip!

Promenade Lounge - 3 pm

You can fill out the docs again while you wait for your dh.

Oh yeah . . .

TODAY's the DAY!!!!!

Nope!! Mine's last- we're in the cab NOW!!

Wahhhooooo!!!! See y'all soon!

Christine

WOO HOO!!!

First post-cruise post! Hope everyone had a MAGICAL time!:wizard:
I'll check in with more details later. Unfortunately we're already home and in the middle of mountains of laundry....this is one huge disadvantage of living close to port!

It was awesome meeting so many of you .... can't wait to hear from everyone!

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a MAGICal cruise.

It was great to meet so many of you! I wish I could have met everyone, but things were a bit crazy. We had to move rooms after the first night (let's just say that you should never stay in rooms 1071 or 1073 unless you like horrible motor/hydraulic noises every few minutes). Then DD got sick on Thursday, but at least it was just a 24 hour bug. Otherwise, we had a great time!

To those of you who did the page swap, sorry I missed it (I didn't know we were doing it on Monday morning). Hope you all got your pages from me okay. Thanks for participating, I love all of the pages!

Thanks to all of you who did the FEs. We had so much fun with this and I can't wait to do it again sometime. I love all of the gifts--the fun toys for DD, the homemade gifts, the treats, etc! DD LOVED the fun new surprises to play with in the tub, at dinner, or just while we were hanging out in the room.

Well, I'd better get back to my huge list of emails to go through. I'm sitting at the Beach Club Villas while DH is over at the ESPN club watching his football game.
