That was Peter who was on stage the last night at the show right??
Did his magic ace turn into a dollar under his pillow?
Sure was, turned into a dollar, he was thrilled by the whole thing!

Hi everyone!
Oh, Tim (switzert).... I never had a chance to meet you or your family (amongst other people). I wanted to tell you a funny story... so I'll just tell it here. On our way to the ship, we were on the Disney Bus, and this huge U-Haul passed us in the other lane.... I just started to laugh out loud, and my DH asked what was funny. I told him that U-Haul was "switzert's" SUV with all the luggage he was hauling. haha. (then I told DH how we were all joking around with all the luggage you brought). Anyway, that UHaul made me think of you. haha.
But, I do have a question for you, Tim.... I found out you are a big guy... did you by chance play the 3-on-3 basketball on one of the sea days up in the basketball course, and if so, do you by chance go by "Tiny Tim"? If so, then you played 3-on-3 with my husband Eric, and I have pictures of you guys playing. If that wasn't you, then never mind. But, this guy "Tiny Tim" my husband played with and met was a big tall guy!
Would be so ironic if that were you... I watched most of the 3-on-3 game.
Take care everyone... would love to keep in touch with those who are interested.
Bye for now!!!
Kathy
My DW got a great deal on a 2 1/2 carat diamond ring. It is beautiful, and she talked them down from 15k to 9K. I was furious at first, but I planned to buy her a new ring in this price range for our 10 year anniversary next year, so she bought it early! We got it for 7.5K... So our cruise budget went up substantially.

Anybody else wonder about the large windmill we could see from the ship at St. Thomas? I was curious what building it was but never made it over there.
We had a wonderful time and it was a great first cruise! We did not get to meet a whole lot of people from the board . . . we seemed to always be doing something. Saw GMa Kathy a couple of times and a few others here and there. If any of you saw the late show on the last night, that was Peter up on the stage with the magician; he really brought the house down, everyone was cracking up.
We booked on board for a 7 night Western on 11.23.13 on the Fantasy over Thanksgiving! So that is exciting too.
Anyway, here are some pictures:

He's famous! We were at that show, and we were laughing SO hard we were almost crying, and the poeple behind us were just roaring with laughter! Peter was SOOOOOOO hysterical and absolutely PERFECT that night. What a cute cute cute boy he is!!! He reminded me of my boys when they were his age!
That is great, too, that that card turned into a dollar for him.
I bet he just was amazed by that!! Yep, Your Husband played on the Champion Ship Team with Josh and I. I told Josh as we were leaving I thought that was your husband. Mostly because of your son's red hair... I said I think he the son of one of the women on the disboard.
We actually were able to down to just 7 checked bags + carry one between the five of us.
We didn't book another cruise and probably won't... My DD and I thouroughly enjoyed the cruise, but my DW has confirmed she is not a cruiser. She says it takes her three days to get used to the ship, not sick, but just feeling funny. We all were exhausted by the last day. We went back to work feeling more tired than when we left. My DW enjoys being able to lay on the beach and do nothing. So we will probably go to a beaches or all-inclusive resort next time.
We also had a few hiccups. On Wednesday morning my DD woke up with a fever. We hoped it was from being in the sun so much on St. Martin, and snorkeling, but we took her to the ships doctor and confirmed she got strep throat. So we had a additional $200.00 bill to get her some antibiotics. She felt better in a couple hours but we kept her in the room and away from everyone for 24 hours, but we still started seeing more and more sick people on Thursday and Friday... On the Thursday's checkup the nurse disclosed that here had been several cases earlier in the week and more on Thursday. I hope no one here caught it.
Oh ya, After snorkeling in St. Martin, we took my wife to front street for shopping and Josh and I took my DD to the beach. We went to find wife and she was still in the same jewelery store. I told Josh, "I'm in serious trouble, I'm not going in there..." He went in, and soon returned with his wife. He was so laughing... because I was right! My DW got a great deal on a 2 1/2 carat diamond ring. It is beautiful, and she talked them down from 15k to 9K. I also think this is where my DD got sick their were lots kids playing on the beach and she was playing ball with them, and the water didn't look the cleanest either.
Though I want to get an appraisal before our 30 day warranty expires.
I'll post some picks when I get home this weekend.
Then, he started to laugh because Eric was the smallest guy by far on the court. haha!!! Eric is only 5'8" and 160 lbs. Anyway, love your nick name!!
So, how did you get that nick name?

Lets see some photos from the rest of you guys now,
Kathy

Thankfully we have never had to deal with that. I love seeing all the pics!
Matt, the one with Minnie & the little one nose to nose is precious!
Kathy LTR, you guys looked great on pirate night!
GMA Kathy, sorry you are getting a cold.
Claire, I'll take you up on that pirate costume! Isabella's will definately NOT fit next year! Just b/c we didn't talk much on the ship doesn't mean we can't now, we should try to get together for coffee or something soon. Do they still have that coffee shop at the Promenade? As for the room bookings, that is what we experienced also! When we got home & I looked up the prices, I found that we could get a full verrandah for barely more than we were paying for an obstructed verrandah. I asked our travel agent to make the switch, I'm hoping the room was still available. THAT is what the travel agent on the ship should have been doing--making sure you got the best room you could. I will be sending an email.
Forgot to mention that Isabella lost a tooth on Castaway Cay. When we got back on the ship I went to Guest Services and they printed out a certificate from the Tooth Fairy & Tinker Bell and gave me a 'Magical Moments' pin for her. I then went and bought a Goofy vinylmation she was eyeing up and put them out for her the next morning.
OH and I forgot to mention that I found a pearl in my oyster at Palo! It's about a half cm big, I'll post a pic later when my camera battery is recharged.
As for servers, we loved ours! We had Stirling & Putu. We had wished we hadn't tipped our Palo server so much so that we could have given it to them. Isabella gave them a pin each & a bag of candy. She adored them. The last night Stirling had a special steak cooked for Mike. We made sure to say they were Excellent. I was very disappointed in the conch chowder however, there was no conch! I made sure to tell the Head Server guy, who was pointless, IMO. I guess they keep things on task? I don't know what his job was.
Well, my temp is finally gone so I have lots of work to do. I'm still fixing her mistakes! I'm going to have to do something different next year!

Isabella was fine, we all were. I'm surprised to hear so many on the ship got sick. I thought they were really on top of things germ-spreading wise.
She works hard and deserves it!Toree is like me, she doesn't get sick but she catches Strep throat easy. I did until I had my tonsils taken out. I don't think I have sick 5 times in 20 years now.
I still haven't slept a full night in my bed since the cruise. Got a Call on St. Thomas that I needed to go to Wichita, KS for my job, and now I am on my way back.
Got good news, my wife got a bonus that paid 1/2 the ring off after taxes. She says she didn't know it was coming... Umm ya, I'm believing that! I just want her to be happy. She works hard and deserves it!
Current Airplane is oversold and they are offering $600.00 to get bumped. Considered it. That is one round trip ticket back to the Caribean, or Turks and Caicos. Which is where I want to go next. Think I want to try a Beaches resort.
I'll post some pics hopefully tomorrow. Got some great ones snorkeling underwater in St. Martin.

Hard to believe it was just a week ago we all got off the ship.
