Can't believe this thread has reached 102 pages! I first posted last year on page 2, and was surprised to come back to see how many people have posted since then!

Three and a half weeks 'til we're aboard the Magic!!!

We are now officially starting to get luggage out. I told her I wanted to start packing by next week, because I drive to FL with a coworker\friend on the 29th.

He and I are going to take 10 days worth of clothes for two women (DW's) and my DD (4). That should be like eight people's luggage. I am hoping we can all drive back and carry the luggage too! I'm glad we are taking the BIG SUV and a hitch all on the back. I'm kind of used to it! Normally I go on vacation with DW, MIL, SL, DN (13), DN (9), and DD (4) and two other female friends of the family. Yes, Eight women, and one luggage carrier, I mean man... The three days of vacation I unload the bags, get one day break and get three days to load the luggage backup...

Howdy Tom,

great to see you decided to come back and post. This thread came to life 6 or 8 weeks ago and we have been moving forward at lightning speed ever since.
If you PM me your e-mail I will send you a copy of our CM list so you can learn who we are and there is information about a meet the first day on it too. Its too large for me to PM it to you.

Every husband on the cruise will sympathize with you. Your either a very brave man or crazy To travel with that many women.
I bet all that luggage toting will build up the biceps

Thats an awesome idea!!
Then they can all bring different shoes and handbags for every outfit

Wow how did you get a photo of my SUV???? Though once 12 fraternity brothers and I took a couple couches in a cargo van to FL for spring break. To be young and dumb again!

Switzert, we are leaving Pittsburgh area at 5am on November 1. Heading to some family in NC that night and getting to Florida the next day. Should be interesting to put my kids in the care for 20ish hours.

If you decided to charter your own private plane instead of drive, do you think it'd look like this once you got all of the girl's luggage on board?

I second that! That would just be like the icing on the cake for a nice long 20 hour car ride!

Nerdy is more like it, haa haa! 3 iPads and 1 Xoom (mine).

We fly out on the afternoon of the 4th and are staying nearby for the night. I thought about driving, would've been cheaper and easier (for me) to load everyone up in my truck but we'll see how the flight goes this time around. My older 2 boys are at an age where they can not only fend for themselves but can help me out with the younger two so we'll see! I've offered them a decent amount of money for their assistance getting too and from the boat as well as babysitting so Misty and I can get out a couple evenings after Logan and Alexa go to bed.

What is your favorite restaurant onboard DCL? Or for our newbies, which restaurant are you most looking forward to dining in?? Not just for the food, but the whole experience?

I think I would have to say mine is Animators Palate, I won't ruin it for the people have never cruised with DCL before, but it is very cool!

Hi Everyone,
Hope everyone had a great weekend. We had a great thanksgiving weekend, we had really good weather we all were back in our shorts!

As for the question of the day today not too sure what restaurant we are looking forward too... dont' know much about them with being new to all Disney stuff, I am looking forward to the experience and can't wait.

My sister will be here in two weeks tomorrow so looking forward to her being here too.

Still working on my FE and Darice's, the gifts I have almost competed and the door signs I am laminating a bit at each day.... Hope to be finished by next week.

Hi Tanya,

I have what i consider the final FE list which I will be sending out today or tomorrow. Everone has answered yes or no accept Rob-Jen. I sent them a PM to get an official answer but I have not got a response yet.

This close to the cruise if anybody new joins the group I wont say the FE is closed but I will tell them that I cant guarante everyone will give them a gift since they have already prepared and packed their gifts but they are welcome to participate if they choose to and a few people have told me already they have an extra gift just in case its needed, so they would be getting something.

Then they can decide if they want to participate they can and no one has to feel bad if they dont give a gift for them. Although its pretty easy to get some little something on board or on the islands if someone wants to give but is all set already for the list. Even post cards are nice.

If we should have this happen I will notify everyone by e-mail as well as post it here.
