November 5-12 SEEMS EXTREMELY BUSY

We are scheduled to go to Disney Nov. 5-12 2016, I am getting nervous because it seems that no hotels have availability. What do you think it will be like?

Relatively speaking that is a busy week............There's a Disney Run that weekend.....last week of F&W festival...and it's Jersey week. If your looking to book a room now........its not surprising that not much will be available.

We already have a reservation booked, we are from Jersey and usually go during Jersey week, I just don't remember it being this booked up. I was actually looking into switching hotels, but we will be happy to just be there.

There is also a huge convention starting the 12th and people are coming in earlier for it. I know this because we are coming the 10th and my husband is attending the convention the following week. People booked the rooms a year in advance in some cases for about 5 hotels in Disney.

It is also veterans day on Friday and schools may have vacation

We were there at this time last year. There was no hotel availability and hard to find ADRs. However the crowds were MUCH lower than we expected. We only ever waited more than a few minutes for the rides you'd expect waits for no matter when you go. I'm sure it will be great! Just in time for xmas decorations! Great time to visit!

I have read that Disney dies what they need to to keep a very high occupancy at the hotels always. If you add am event or convention and it could be fully booked... But disney hotel occupancy is not related to park occupancy... That is more driven by off site guests... The number of on site guests at the parks is relatively consistent no matter what time of year or how busy.

Yep, most of the hotels have been booked for a long time. My TA said that there are several large conventions this year.

And the Christmas Parade is being filmed several of those days and that brings people in as well.

They aren't filming the actual parade in Florida, just stage shows. I think that will cut down on the crowds.

There's a few more conferences that either just ended or just starting in the area that will bring in more people. This falls Dapperday is this coming weekend. it was already said but all the locals have veterans day off. There's a few other disney related but not disney itself anniversaries happening today but I can't see tha tbeing enough people..

I think nagc conference that just ended is a big part of why so many resort rooms are filled up and they are staying the week. especially if it's the value or mods your trying to find a room for.

Here in RI schools have Tuesday 11/8 and Friday 11/11 off. I know of several families traveling to WDW this week. It's very rare for us to have much time off in the fall so I think people are taking advantage of it.

It's Jersey week also. My kids only have a half day today and Wednesday and then off Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Lots of kids around here go to WDW that week.
