November 4th, 2007 Disney Wonder Roll Call

Just W O N D E R I N G......if anyone with early dining seating would be interested in "linking" dining seating to share a table. It is just DH & I, mid 50's, and we don't mind children.
In linking dining, I/you would contact disney cruiseline with the others reservation number and ask them to link the dining seating. They would then make sure that the parties are seated at the same table for supper each night. Tables are set up for anywhere from 4 to 8 or 10 (I believe), so any number that would fit would be welcome.

I've lost track of the ages of kids that are going on our cruise... Does anyone have any 11-12 year old boys or girls?? My son turns 12 on 11/3...what a nice Mom I am for giving him a cruise for his 12th Birthday!! Ha!!

COMETMOM - I still can't get over "all of you" cruising. That would be a blast.

Have to share my good news.....My dtr was laid off from her job in late August due to the down swing in the housing market. She has been desperately searching for another position. Yesterday she was offered a position with a national company at about $6,000 more than she was making before. This time has been very stressful because she lives about 2 hours away and has a new baby (3 months old) had little income , so "mom and dad" were helping out. Now I can go on the cruise feeling guilt free and happy that she is once again OK. Thanks for allowing me to share.

I just mentione to my daughter that there will be 3 9 year old girls on the boat she can play with and she is doing the happy dance right now. She would love to hang out with girls her age while at the lab and on the ship.

We have late dining right now but we are trying to get the early dining. We will not know until we get on the ship I was told. On a waiting list. Would like to be at the 6:00 pm seating.

I am so glad to hear your good news. That can be a pain in the rear. We have gone thru that a couple of times. My DH is a little worried now too Heard thru the grape vine that lay offs might be happening at his place of employment soon. We are keeping our fingers crosssed. Still going on the trip and having a good time if it happens . Tha is life I guess.

Mu daughter has been cheering for a local team for 3 years now and she just loves it. We are out on the football field every Sunday cheering on a local football team.
The girls will be cheering on the ship all week long.

Mu daughter has been cheering for a local team for 3 years now and she just loves it. We are out on the football field every Sunday cheering on a local football team.

YES THEY CHEER EVERY PLACE WE GO. WE ALL STARTED WITH POP WARNER AND 3 YEARS AGO WE TRIED ALL STAR AND STAYED THERE SO THEY NOW CHEER ALL YEAR LONG!

You can find the navigators at the www(dot) CastawayClub (dot) com website. I can't type out the website address as it won't appear here, but insert the actual DOT between the w's and Castaway and between club and com and you should get there. Then just click on the word navigators in the center menu part of the page and then make selections to get to the 4 day navigators. You can also find all kinds of information on this site including copies of menus from the dining rooms.

Thanks, Kris - I'm going to try that site in a few minutes. I'm also happy for your good news regarding your daughter...none of us ever knows what's around the corner for us, so the good things are extra-special.
We have late seating for dinner. Hubby and I have a cat. 6 (room 6090 - balcony). LESS THAN ONE MONTH TO GO!!!!!!!!

Zak's Pak2 - we've gone to Ardastra twice - once through the DCL excursion and once on our own. I'd do it on your own. If you do it through DCL, you don't get to spend much time there. It's also cheaper to do it on your own. You can just get a taxi right off the ship and pay your admission at the gate. Ardastra is a lot of fun - feeding the lories is great.

Hi F1Julie - thanks for the note on Ardastra - it looked nice on the website, but you are the first one I've seen a reply from about the tour. We've already booked it through DCL...that's OK; with the luck we sometimes have we might miss the ship if we tried to do it on our own!
