By Friday Noel should be far north of the Bahamas but lets hope she doesn't do much damge to any of the islands especially CC.
Here's a post from the trip reports forum at 11am today:

From weather.com:
Tropical Storm Noel (45 mph) is temporarily stuck in Cuba, but should move into the Bahamas during the day tomorrow.
As of 11 a.m. EDT, the center of Noel was moving westward over Cuba about 40 miles ESE of Camaguey. The storm is expected to continue on this track for another 18 to 24 hours, then churn northward away from the island nation toward the Bahamas.
Noel could weaken a bit more today, then regain some strength as it swirls through the northwest Bahamas late tomorrow or tomorrow night on a northeasterly course.
Heavy downpours continue to plague Hispaniola where up to 30 inches of rain may eventually be measured. Flash floods and mud slides are likely occurring.
Heavy rain and squalls will spread through the Bahamas over the next day or two, with totals of 5 to 10 inches (isolated 15 inches) expected there as well as in eastern Cuba.
Meanwhile, gusty winds will continue along the Southeast coast of the U. S. due to the pressure gradient between Noel and strong high pressure moving eastward from the Mid-Atlantic states. Gale warnings are posted from Altamaha Sound, Ga., to Jupiter Inlet, Fla. High surf advisories are in effect from the mouth of the South Santee River in South Carolina to Deerfield Beach, Fla.
OK Hoogy - You wear a lime green shirt too!!! Monica and I don't want to be lonely.
Lori: I'm jealous that you are driving down. My favorite part of the drive is eating at Cracker Barrel! You have no airlines worries - lost bags, packing liquids, don't have to worry about ground transporation, etc. etc.
Hi all,
Just wanted to wish you all a Wonderful cruise and although I switched and will be on the Nov 11th departure, maybe I'll catch ya next year on my 7 day Magic, Eastern, November 8th!![]()
Don't worry about your weather....I'm a local and they love to hipe it up, I'm sure you'll have crystal clear skies on Nov. 4th.![]()
It was nice writing to you all on the boards and I have continued to check out your info and will miss meeting your exciting group. Have a great time on your cruise! Warm up the ship for us!!![]()

Well, I take the above back after reading further on from when I responded to drc712's noteThanks for the comforting words regarding the weather. The 10 day forecast actually looks great for Orlando area (so much for Weather Channel!) You enjoy your cruise and let us know how it went, OK?

Well, I take the above back after reading further on from when I responded to drc712's noteWell, whatever the weather will be, we can't do anything about it. So bring those rain ponchos (and the sunscreen
) and hope for the best!! Hopefully, Noel will be FAR AWAY by Sunday. As for MNSSHP tomorrow night, guess we'll pack those rain ponchos. Anyone know what's supposed to be going on at WDW for the next couple of days?
When we were at WDW last Christmas, we had 3 tornadoes in the Orlando area on Christmas Day and rain the whole 8 days we were there...but we were at Disney World, so there's always something great going on.
See you all soon...safe driving....enjoy that barbecue place...safe travel to al those flying in.![]()
Glad Henlady will also be decked out in lime green - that's 4 of us now!! Not to late to get on board cruisers.
I said I wasn't going to do it, but I couldn't help it. Just got a fabulous pair of boots for my pirate outfit!!!irate: Had to sacrifice some other shoes from the pile to be packed to make room, but it will be worth it. Toying with the idea of suiting up in my pirate outfit on Castaway Cay day to have my picture taken in all my pirate glory in front of the Flying Dutchman!!!
Keep watching those weather updates. My heart goes out to those cruisers who were at Castaway Cay today. I imagine the weather was very bad for them today.
Many fond memories of the drive up and down I-95 since 1971. Once I had my license, and got to help with the driving, I drove right past South of the Border without stopping and my father pouted for at least a half an hour. Cracker Barrel is wonderful but it does slow us down considerably every time I stop there for my fix.
Ok...we just had a 5.6 earthquake here while the kids and I were at the grocery store. Now a tropical storm isn't looking so bad.

I was thinking of you when the news came on. Everything OK?
We are...I just hope that was it! We had a few shelf items fall (books, scrapbooks) and all of my frames are sideways, but that was it. In some way it was comforting to be with a group of people, especially since if you have to be trapped a grocery store isn't a bad place to be.![]()
