My daughter will be almost 5.5 when we travel, and I haven't met anyone who has a daughter yet! Yeah! We are me 36, DH 40, DD 5.5, DS 4. We are from the Toronto area. Have been to Ann Arbor, very nice. Tell me about yourselves.

We are so happy for Sarah (5 on October 2nd) to be able to possibly meet a friend. We went on the 4 day Wonder last September and she did not spend too much time with the kids activites because she did not know anyone. Maybe that will change. I am 34, DH 38 and we expecting our 2nd child the end of April. Have you been on any other cruises, disney or other? Our cabin is 6072. My parents live outside of Orlando part of the year and so we are going to spend the week of Thanksgiving with them and then they will take us down to the port Saturday am. We can't wait!!!! Castaway Cay is the absolute best part!!! Do you have early or late seating??? We would like early so we were wait listed because we just booked a couple of weeks ago. Keep your fingers crossed. As you can probably guess from my ID, I lived in A2 for 20 years! I moved two years ago, and still haven't got used to it. Sure is A LOT different here than Ann Arbor!

Sorry about friends for the kids, Me 39, DW 38, and DS 12, and DD 9. The kids will probably spend most of their time in the lab.

Alison, which Hosp. St Joe's or the U? What Dept. (My kids have been to the U hosp. more than I'd like to think! ) I also have a couple friends that work at the U hosp.

We are forming a nice group here. It should be a fun cruise! Soon we will have to start planning our meeting.

Gary-St Joe's of course......no other.......we have lived in A2 for 12 years and love it here. A2 is such a great town! Where in A2 did you live? Hope to catch up with you on the ship.....Alison

Well....

We lived in Geddes Lakes (By Huron High) while we were in school, and for a few years after. Then in a condo in Saline (by the Police Station), then in The Waterways sub (by the airport.)

We were VERY lucky getting into places BEFORE they got big!

We didn't have too much dealings we St Joe, other than having DS there. That was VERY nice, but Care Choices HMO and I had some ISSUES, and we used the U after that. (That and DW had gestational diabetes and that made DD a "high risk" pregnancy.)

I'm on my way to Cedar Point for the weekend.

Barb,
Glad that he has decided to go. Just don't worry about him on the cruise. Plan for your time and I am sure that he will enjoy himself. Hopefully he will join you for some of the meals/activities, and if he doesn't, it isn't because he doesn't love you guys, it just isn't his thing. He is probably finding this whole DIS thing overwhelming. I know that my husband laughs at me (and thinks it is kinda cute), but he knows that I am always like this before a vacation. The minute we book a trip, I am researching like crazy. It just so happens that this time the research is on DIS.
