Hi everyone! I can't believe we are so close to finally booking our excursions and getting on this ship! I haven't been on here to often, but I have been following everything on Facebook. I have a question regarding single folks on board (as we are traveling with a two single moms).....

Do I remember correctly that they usually had a single meet and great? I don't remember, but would love to know if anyone has any experience with something like this!

Was up at 6(our time) and with the usual Disney webglitches got Palo for Pirate night at 7.Perfect,lots of times still available.Remy was full for that night.
Back to bed and back to the Laptop at 9,same glitches but Online Check-in now completed with Arrival time 11.00-11.30.So happy,now it´s really getting closer.I´m keeping my fingers crossed for all of you to get what they want.

Now I´m totally confused.I just read on a Fantasy Dining thread at the Main Forum that Pirate night would be on Day 5 San Juan.I thought it would be on the St.Thomas day.Does anyone know what is correct?

I asked my TA back when it was my booking day and she was told by DCL it was Day 4, St. Thomas. That does not mean it wasn't rescheduled. I hope not, because we booked Remy's for that same night.

ETA: I went over to the main cruise board and looked through several posts regarding the dining rotation and all of them said Eastern had Pirate night as night 4 and Prince & Princess is night 5. The reason is they have permission for the fireworks out of St. Thomas. That said, I will note this is the first time with San Juan in the schedule, so it could be different, but that also means nobody has sailed on this specific itinerary to say it has. If you get on board and find it has, you can go and try to reschedule your Palo dining if you want.

The information that Shell (ntheory) was provided by her concierge contact was the special nights to be formal night 2, Pirate night 4, and Semi formal 6.

glad everything was there for ya!!! What snorkel trip? We did it a few years ago on the 'pirate ship' and that was a blast! We went to Turtle bay and swam with some AMAZING turtles!!! So cool! Wanted to do it again, but my knee and hip sort of preclude me getting back into the boat right now!

I just got an email answer from Disney Cruise line direct.
It said:night 1347 casual,2 formal,5 Pirate night,6 semi formal.
So it really looks like it´s after San Juan.I managed to rescedule my Palo to day 5 and keep my fingers crossed that the info is correct.
But with Disney you never know.I guess we have to wait untill boarding that we will know for sure.
I will go to Palo after eating lunch and have them check my reservation,it has the right date but also says it´s a sea day and day 6,with DisneyIT nothing suprises me anymore.

The bibbidi bobbidi boutique changes and has pirate packages on Pirate Night.
So on day 4 it changes to pirate stuff. This is how I confirmed pirate night was on the St. Thomas evening.

I hope it is since that is what DCL told us was pirate night so that was the night we booked Remy's and the fact it has also always been 4th night on the eastern. Oh well, it will be what it is!

My DH wants to know it it looked like a true pirate ship? My DS5 is into pirates! Right now we have the semi sub trip booked. I just can't decide. DH is scuba diving that day so I have the boy. I wasn't impressed with our last port adventure we did. Decisions! Decisions!

It was a schooner and they flew the pirate flag...the guide that picked us up was dressed as a pirate and did the whole nine yards of 'conscripting' us into the pirate band! We marched down the pier and around the corner where the schooner was docked. It was great fun! I wouldn't mind doing it again.

OK, just called DCL myself on the Castaway members line. St. Thomas, Tuesday night, night 4 is pirate night. Stacey said there IS a change on the cruise that sails over Thanksgiving weekend, but the one on the 3rd of November is the 4th night.

I asked for BBB for my daughter *specifically* on Pirate night (concierge did the booking of the appointment), and they reserved it for the St. Thomas night.

Now begins an endless stalking for Remy... We are thinking of changing our plan of taking it easy at the resort and taking a DCL transfer from AKL and driving ourselves to the port instead to try and get into Remy once we are on the ship. Seems like if we don't then by the time DCL gets us there it would be too late...?

Looking for some suggestions... I'd like to go snorkeling with my kids 8 & 10 for their first time while in St. Thomas, while getting some beach time...I'm noticing there are several snorkeling options... Any suggestions?...thanks

Reviews from folks I know have me leaning towards going to St John. There are at least 2 snorkel excursions going to St John. They are both beautiful islands, st john is majorily if not all national park; ergo in my mind, less crowded and more pristine.

Reviews from folks I know have me leaning towards going to St John. There are at least 2 snorkel excursions going to St John. They are both beautiful islands, st john is majorily if not all national park; ergo in my mind, less crowded and more pristine.

I did the trunk bay snorkel excursion in April and loved it. I could have used 2 more hours. You will have enough time to go shopping or to paradise point afterward.
