ETA, up to 14 cabins! 45 participants, 28 adults and 17 kids!

Good Morning Everyone!!! I just got off work :woohoo: and now I am taking my son to :teacher: school. I hope it is going to be cool here in CO, so I can sleep well. We broke the record for the number of 90 degree days this summer.

Thank you for putting together the FE list. It looks like people are getting excited. I commend you for running in the Wounded Warrior Project 8K yesterday, in San Antonio TX. Did you place well? Where you able to raise some funds for our fine men and women? Thank you for dedicating yourself to the cause.

Sissy_ib. Thanks for putting the FE list together. Right now we are still Gty so I don't have a cabin number to give you but I'll let you know as soon as one is assigned.

I'm really looking forward to this trip. I just booked last week but it seems so long ago already. Normally we bok over a year in advance so this trip should come up quickly, but if the past week is any indication it is going to be a long wait!;)

I booked our flights home last week at the same time I booked the cruise. (not through Disney though) and not thinking booked earlier then 1:30. Now I'm waiting for the first few sailings to see what time people really get to the airport on the Disney shuttle. We have a 1:07 flight to Buffalo so I don't think it shouldbe a problem, but we shall see how the next few cruises go.:hourglass

Socercermickey- where are u in CO? We are in the springs! :)

We are from Fort Collins, CO located 30 miles south of the WY border off I25. Many of you may have heard of us this summer with the High Park Fire. The Springs were hit hard with their fire too this summer. I am a Deputy Sheriff in Larimer County but went to the police academy in the Springs. So I have spent some time down there. It is a beautiful place to live. :flower3:

:surfweb: Good Day Everyone!! I hope you are dreaming of your cruise! I just wanted to send a little Pixie Dust your way :tink:

Would anyone be interested in linking our dining? This would allow us to get to know each other better and hear about the exciting adventures we experienced throughout our days. Would anyone be interested in getting together for a Palo Brunch? The private dining room can seat twelve to fourteen. Also, I know many of you are new and heard about the FE gifts but did you know most of us decorate our doors. Who is crafty and have ideas for us? Come on I know your out there!! Does anyone else have a fun idea they would like to share?

Does everyone in our FE group drink (21yr old + of course)? I'm trying to think of some adult ideas. I'm 2 crafts done and a couple more to go. I'm just trying to figure out which ones I'm going to try to make (my sewing machine and I are bonding).

We're getting excited, or at least I am! My husband and parents are letting me do all the research and planning. So far I've booked a Palo brunch, Snorkel trip with Native Ways in Grand Cayman and reserved our chairs at Tropicante in Costa Maya. Still debating our adventure in Cozumel...

I think I've convinced my husband to go to Galveston (only 30mins from us) on Saturday to wish the Magic off on her 1st voyage from Tx. I'm noy crazy enough to go down there early in the morning to welcome her. I'm already having to bribe him with the shrimp festival to go in the afternoon.

Have a great week y'all :)

@sorcerermickey. Our oldest goes to college in ft Collins and we own a condo there! Hopefully you will never meet him while you are at work! LOL

I am making three shirts apiece for the kids and some door magnets! I scaled back on the number of magnets because I read on a different thread that they were getting stolen! :(.

@imedly200. Jon and I would greatly appreciate any "adult" beverages we received in our FE!!! Did I mention we are bringing our 4 youngest??? LOL

I didn't run it. :( It was pouring rain here when I woke up so I didn't go. It actually rained all day yesterday. I cant complain though, we really needed it. I wish I could have raised more money but am glad I did anything.

Hi,
I had signed up my cabin for the FE and had said that our neighbors might also want to sign up and they do so I'm giving their info and then sending the link for this DISboard so she can get herself logged in. She's really busy with some work she's doing right now and may not have time to get on here to sign up before October which is why I'm giving you her info now. Their cabin number is 7042 (right next to ours) and it's one adult and one child (female age 10). She will have to log on and pick a user name to give you so for now just add them to my user name if you don't mind.
Thanks so much!
Kim

I'll add her to my list when I get home. If anyone else is wanting to join let us know. :)

We are currently sitting in the ER waiting for them to see my DH. He had surgery this morning and we have a problem with one of his drains. Thank goodness he is on pain killers!!

I hope he is ok!!!!!

Than you, he is. It was a cosmetic prosedure, but because of the nature of it the Navy covered it. Not at all service related. This is just a minor hickup tonight.

:)

Unfortunately I am allergic to alcohol so don't drink. Between that and my allergy to eggs I get a lot of Mickey bars for deserts as most of the deserts on the menu are out.

Which snorkling trip did you book in Grand Cayman? I booked us with Native Way as well for the String Ray, Coral City and Sea Turtles. We have used Native Way twice before and they were great both times. I'm looking forward to a return visit!

Sissy_ib: I'm sorry to hear about your husband. I've spent a lot of time in the ER with my daughter and it is no fun. I hope that everything heals well before the cruise!

We booked the Stingray Sandbar, Coral Gardens and Star Fish Snorkel.

Thanks for the well wishes! It was a long day but he is finally resting comfortably. If the Dr.s had given me a bit more warning about what to expect the ER trip would not have been necessary. Nothing was wrong, they basically told us everything was normal! But we would rather show up at the hospital for nothing than stay home and it is something. And the surgeon said he will be good to go swimming for the cruise!

Hello fellow cruisers! I'm excited to read some of your posts! We just made our reservation a couple of weeks ago and are so excited! We're cruise virgins!
'we' consists of me, husband & son (13)!
Is the Fish Extender list still open?

It is not 100% confirmed yet but my family of 3 might be joining you guys for our 1st Disney Cruise..... I would LOVE to do the FE..... Is it too late to join the list?
