November 3, 2007 - Western on the Magic

It looks like most of the carriers have high fares for that week (at least in the NE market). We booked our air through Disney once (our first WDW trip) and our flights weren't scheduled to arrive in FL until late afternoon. We tried to get them changed, but were told that was the best they could do.

We've made flight arrangements on our own since then. For the cruise, we're flying to FL on Thursday (direct flight from Syracuse) and then flying home on Sunday (direct flight).

That's the same problem we ran into with booking directly through Disney. We don't arrive in Orlando until 2:00. I would of liked to be arriving earlier.

............check with your school district, our kids have that Monday off for veterans day.
Good luck!!!!!

Well the way we look at it is, atleast we have a flight home. It's just a little bit more than we planned to spend, but hey it's vacation. Live for today!:)
It will all be worth it in the end!

Wouldn't it be nice if you COULDN'T get a flight home and had to live on the boat for FOREVER? ;)

Yeah, wouldn't it be cool if some old barge or something sinks near the port (no injuries involved, of course) and we are unable to dock right away and have to stay on board a few extra days.... aww that would be terrible!! :rotfl:

anyone have any ideas on how to work it so that there will be room for all the xtras on the way home? DH and I are planning to do some of our christmas shopping on the islands since im a big believer in its what you get someone not what it costs. I figure if i get someone something that cost me $5 instead of $50 but its something they wouldnt be able to get at home, its worth more than nething.

its also pretty much been decided that we will be takin a late morn flight on the 2nd and staying over...sounds perfect to me!

When we pack, we are allowed 6 bags for the three of us. We pack 5 and pack a rolled up duffle bag in one, the duffle gets all the dirty clothes for the way home and the goodies get the hard sided bag(well padded). Gives you a little shift room as well for bag weight allowance.

Exactly Four Months From Today!

Four months is a very short amount of time, but seems like a long way off. I am truly getting excited! What a great time it will be!

:dance3:

Four months, that's exciting :yay: :woohoo: :dance3:
The time will go by fast, we can't wait and this is our third
Disney Cruise.

We need to start planning where and when we are going to have our DISmeet when we board.:cheer2:

So close........you think you have a handle on things (flight reservations, car rental, hotel for pre/post cruise) and then realize you need to figure out what excursions you're going on! And what night for Palo reservations? :scared: ??
