November 3, 2007 - Western on the Magic

PS - If I missed anybody for the roll call, please let me know? A PM would be fine (so I don't miss you again!!!).

Hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th! :cheer2:

For the roll call, my 19yo isn't going this time. Her schedule just isn't meshing. :sad1:

Disneyshopping.com + free shipping codes + great sales = fun new cruise clothes! We've gotten some new swimsuits, cover ups, and a few doo-dads here and there...what fun! I'm going to have to set up a "cruise closet" before it's over with! I also bought DD a couple of formals from eBay that I can alter for her. She, my not so girly girl, is THRILLED. What a relief that is! I ordered a couple of princess dresses for the 8yo to wear, so I'm the only one who needs something. I pulled a George Banks (Father of the Bride) and pulled out my last formal...it was *SO* last century, shoulder pads and all, so I'm thinking I need something new. :rolleyes1

I've also started pulling together scrapbook supplies to start designing the page kits for the classes I'd like to teach onboard. FUN, FUN, FUN!!! Now to come up with a location (and times) for the classes....

I've booked the pre-cruise hotel, but not the post-cruise hotel. I'm waiting to see if any room only codes come out for Animal Kingdom for that weekend. Do you thinks I'm nuts since it is Veteran's Day? Or is Veteran's Day not that big a deal?:confused3

Hi Dawn, I made the change to the roll call. Sorry to hear your daughter's schedule isn't working out for the trip.

Have a great 4th everyone!

I am so stuffed. I wish the fireworks would hurry up and be over so I can go to bed and sleep some of this cookout off.

Happy Fourth of July everybody!

im not that far from you! i live in middletown! How old are your kids? my daughter is 8 and my sister and BIL live in belford and my niece and nephew are 6 and 7. Maybe we can hit the mall together at the end of the season and shop forthe cruise.
Sorry I haven't been on, getting ready to leave tomorrow for Disney then a 4-day Wonder on Sunday. :woohoo:
That sounds likea great idea, once I get back I really have to start planning. Hope everyone had a great 4th!! pixiedust:

Have a great trip!!!

enjoy ur trip and second here down the shore in mon co everyone lucked out with the fireworks. the rain held off for the most part until at the earliest the tail end of the fire works...even got to see the ny ones (from very far away)

anyone else wish they got the whole rest of the week off??

how bout wishing the rain rain would go away

Not sure which was more impressive, the fireworks or the lightning. We never did get rain. Just lots of lightning. Fireworks weren't all that great.

As Mr. iwbm put it last night, "Disney has ruined just about everything for us, hasn't it?"

Well I did some damage today....went to the Disney Store and bought a few things and then came home and ordered more stuff off of Disney Shopping.
We got matching Lime green t-shirts to wear for boarding day. You all will definately be able to spot us, you might even want to wear your sunglasses.:rotfl2: Hey maybe everybody should wear Lime green for boarding day, whatcha say????:cool1:

I'm wearing my Tiki Kingdom Sundress and Mr. iwbm is wearing his matching shirt for boarding day.

Heavens. I haven't even considered what we'll wear yet!

I set up a Yahoo! group for the kids, if anyone is interested! It will be moderated and it's completely private. My girls are anxious to get to meet some of the other kids/teens! Please PM me with your/their email and I will send out an invite!

Well, I bought the things, and then couldn't imagine us wearing them. I decided we would wear them on boarding day so we could get our pictures made in them. Also, I'm afraid if I wait until later in the cruise to wear the sundress that it won't fit. ;)

I was reading some other threads today, especially the one about Martini Tasting!!! So who is up for Martini Tasting:drinking1 Anybody??
If anybody has done the Martini Tasting before is it worth the $15?

You can have the martini's. I'm holding out for the Margarita tasting!
