No just kidding, we have reservations for Thursday evening.

Jon - you are so good with the info.

Anybody plan thier trips for St. Martin? We are thinking of just hanging at the beach, or maybe try a non-disney arranged trip on a boat. I need to work at keeping my DW away from the jewlery shops. She has a gleem in her eye about an emerald.

Not a problem with the info. It is actually very easy. Makes me read the posts.

I am doing the 12-Metre Regatta and my DW is Scuba Diving.

When you start getting documents, if you would post it, I will then update the list with documents received and when.

We got part of our documents yesterday. Still waiting on 5 of the 9 sets.
I had asked for them all to go to one location, but of course part went to my mom's and part to my sister's. I just hope that none go to out to our new house, as we are not moving in for 2 weeks. Those guys laying carpet might think it was their bonus checks!

It is good to hear that we are starting to get the documents in.

Where did you see that we are docking at Crown Bay?

jon

If you go to www.vinow.com, there is a link for cruise ship schedules. The site put out the list on Monday. It lists all cruise ships docking in St. Thomas each day. If you look at the 30th, it has the letters CB after Disney Magic which means we are docking at Crown Bay.

My counter is also gone, but guess what! I have been doing a mental count for the last month, who needs a stink'en counter.

3 weeks until my VACATION starts.

Thanks.
Looks like most of the time it is docked in Havensight.

I finally went and got my green mickey's from home depot!!!!!!
And we got our magnets!!!!! And we have started getting things to make the room less messy, to have a place to put things. !!!!!! And I have my dd and my formal and semi-formal dresses!!!! I bought my dh a skeleton shirt at target half off, (someone had mentioned it earlier). Things are coming together! How very exciting!!!

Has anyone ever just rented a car in St. Thomas to just drive around and look at things?

The only thing I hate about all the planning is that it seems like you do it for such along time and then the vacation is over!!!!!

As for counters for the days till vacation, My dks tell me everyday and sometimes a couple times each everyday! They love disney. This is our first cruise but by the time this vacation is over we will have been at disney world 30 1/2 days this year. Which broke last year's record which was only 24 days.

My ds 6 yrs old would still love to have a friend to e-mail. If anyone has a ds his age that would like to do that!!!!

Have a Great Day!!!!!!!

I'm impressed - I still can't find any good magnets and have not been to Home Depot and our Target was out of the pirate shirts (and I'm the one that mentioned them previously - should have bought them when I had the chance). I did get underwater cameras for the kids and Dramamine though I'm hoping we don't need it! I started packing today just so I'd know what we still need.

Our kids our enjoying emailing your kids. My DS owes your DS a letter but he's out enjoying the nice weather right now. :sunny: If anyone else wants to email DS9 or DD6 (almost 7) let me know.

Have fun waiting for docs to arrive!

Our dks have enjoyed emailing your dks also. They want to check and see if they have any messages in the morning before school and after school. I really can't believe how nice it is outside today!!! It's just a taste of what we will have on our vacation!!!!!

Boo MC - I would start taking the Dramanine 24 Hours before you get on the boat. If you start to feel sick, it is too late and the medicine will take affect in time. I have been on 4 cruises and never have been sick. However, I am going to take dramamine that morning before we fly.

Yeah, for the docs!!!!! :cool1: :cool1: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
It is getting so close. Hopefully, we will get ours next week.

After reading that you had your documents, I called our travel agent. I was told that they mailed out our documents today. We should get them by the beginning of next week. :cheer2:

Life has gotten so complicated that I have not been able to enjoy the anticipation lately. :crazy2: I started packing for the DSs last weekend. I will finish up this weekend and then focus on me and the DH.

I have enjoyed reading everyone's enthusiasm. I have our magnets. I did not try to make any. I have not gone to Home Depot lately, but I will.

Does anyone know Crown Bay? I will do a little research tonight. In the past, someone was giving the temperature on the islands. Please keep it up. It makes me believe that we will have warm weather. :cold:

Well that is all for now. Although I don't write much, know I am reading several times a day. You all keep me so pumped up.

We pack VERY light.

For nine of us, its 3 rolling suitcases, 1 garment bag and a carry on (including a laptop), and two umbrella strollers. Kids usually like to wear a bathing suit under their clothes when we board so they can hit the pool early.

I DO NOT pack each kid a dinner outfit for every night of the week. They each take about three dressy outfits, their pirate wear and playclothes (2 swimsuits, tshirts and flipflops). They are mostly in swimsuits and flipflops all week. I either do laundry once or send it out once (depending on how much money I have spent on Bingo) The dinner clothes are put on half an hour before dinner and taken off an hour later so they are barely worn.

My kids love the clubs and spend alot of time there and tshirts and shorts are what they wear to the clubs/lab and those take up hardly any room in the suitcases.

I am a fanatical organizer/packer. Each childs outfits are ziplock bagged and labeled with their name on it. The ziplocks are then put in the steamer trunks in the rooms so they dont have any chance of mismatching anything, and they dont rummage around messing up and wrinkling the clothes, looking for something :goodvibes:
What a great idea! Having 4 kids nad 2 staterooms, we need to keep things organized so the luggage can be split...not wondering whose clothes are in which bag...I do not want to shuffle things around either!

I found this link
It sounds like from the first paragraph we will be getting tendered in and dropped off at Charlotte Amelia.

jon

This link also has information about it and does not mention anything about being tendered in. So now, I do not know what to tell anyone.

Hello fellow cruisers....we got our stateroom assignment...7119....and our docs yesterday.....looking forward to just walking around the ship with really no particular purpose except to find that next comfortable chair.....actually discussed with DW that I would like to participate more on this cruise, checking out more of the tours they offer of the ship....but those chairs on deck 4 are calling my name already.....hope to see you all soon!
