TS Gamma looks like it will stay way south of where we're headed. THANKFULLY! The good news is that in 12 days it will already have gone on to Mexico or Nicaragua. Here's praying it keeps moving. Waters are too cool for development much outside of the area it is in right now.

What an amazing hurricane season! Did you know that last year at this time, they were predicting a mild El Nino that would have meant a slower than usual hurricane season. Go figure!

Hey, those look pretty snazzy! At first I was going to ask how you managed to feed those Home Depot paint chips into your printer without it jamming but then I realized you just print the Mickey shape.

Anyone else flying Delta (Song) to Orlando? I just read a report of the on-going dispute between the Airlines and the Pilots union. It doesn't sound good. I hope they can hold off any actions until after we return from the cruise.

If we have to DW and I have already discussed driving from Boston to Orlando, and leaving early. Lets hope it doesn't come to that. I've waited and planned for to long to have anything effect our vacation plans!

We are flying Delta.

Wow, Delta hopefully will hold off. I was nervous because we were fly America West and bought the tickets prior to merge. I am still anxious but they keep telling me all is ok. The storm doesn't worry me. All I know is from PHX to Orlando, no way I could make the drive. I do know the airline schedule for alternative flights.

Worst case scenario, we could drive from Raleigh. It is about an 8-9 hour drive.

It is 2300 miles for us. With a stop for gas, restroom and food, 39 hours. That is if we average 60 mph. My mom is so worried she checked charter flights.

The cost? $1750 per person! Please let there be no issue, please let there be no issue.

My travel insurance will not cover AWA dropping us for some reason. MUST MAKE THE SHIP.

jonesing - Now I know who has been upping the cost of the boys suits on eBay. I've been working to buy my boys nice suits for formal night without spending my life savings. They're still more than I'd like on eBay. I know they will only wear them for the ship and outgrow them before they could wear them again

I like the idea of buying dh a tux on eBay. That's sounds like a great idea. I'll have to check it this morning. He's stayed the same size (mostly) for many years. Thanks for the idea!

Oh my gosh! Only 12 more days!! Help, I'm hyperventalating!! We've got so much to do . . . off to paint more of the kitchen!

Hi Theresa! I bought my DH a tux off eBay a few years ago. We bought a classic black tux that won't go out of style. The best investment we ever made. He has worn it on 3 cruises (it paid for itself after the second one). I love to see him all dressed up too! The nice thing about the pants is the waist is adjustable, so if he goes up or down an inch, they will still fit. The seller we bought from is called Tuxxman. See you all in 12 days!

how did you become so computer savvy? I can turn mine on get my e-mail, fix my pictures, download my picture and that is the end!!!!!! My 10 year old ds would say it is a blonde thing.....

I was an applied math major with a concentration in computer science. I program cash registers for a living. Therefore, I am around computers all the time.

LOL . . .Amy, I'm blonde and I own a website design business. . . LOL. The cool thing about being blonde and using computers is that to be successful with computers, you have to make a lot of mistakes to figure out what works. I've been at it since I was 10. Guess I've just made a lot of mistakes along the way . . .

Let's all hope we are just be worried over nothing and this Delta thing will be over. I checked Southwest and they have flights, but I don' feel like dropping another $2,000. Let's all keep our finger crossed.

Is anyone making Door Signs? I wasn't going to and starting reading posts about them and got in the spirt. So i made one for the family and had each of my kids make one. I think my wife is getting concerned about me. Oh well...she married already, and my parents have a strict no return policy...

Hi All!
I've been so busy at work.. I'm having trouble keeping up with all of you. I finally caught up with all of the posts.

1. We are not dressing up for pirate night... DH wanted to buy a costume that cost $150, I vetoed... I offered to buy something less expensive, but he said "all or none". My 9 year old said that we would embarrass her if we dressed up. Did I fail to mention that she was 9 going on 17

2. We are driving from Pittsburgh and should arrive on Saturday around noon. We are going to Kennedy Space Center on the Saturday after the cruise. We are still looking for a nice place to stay at the cape or slightly north. Where is Ron Jon's? Is it near the cape? And is it a nice place? We have reservations for a place in Daytona... but are keeping our options open.

3. Mickey's Halloween Party... What a great time we had 2 years ago. While they run it for several weekends... we went on Halloween. Many of the adults were dessed up and the kids had a great time. The kids didn't even miss our usual trick or treat night. There were many photo ops that you normally do not have. (How about a photo with Snow White and all of the 7 dwarfs?) Make sure you get you tickets early... they sell out for Halloween night every year.

4. Finally got our magnets bought. We had no choice but to buy the Steelers magnets. We just couldn't find anything else around. I'm WAY behind the rest of you. Haven't got 1 thing packed yet... but hay... I got a whole 10 days before we leave... I work better under pressure.

Ooops... forgot to mention a few things.... We are in stateroom 7558, and we did get our docts last week.

Called Disney yesterday... Still no Harry Potter movie on board Does anyone know if Disney ever changes their movie schedule this late in the game? The movie has not been released yet... so I'm hoping that they are holding out.

To Gilzmom and Michelle2... Sorry my DD has not emailed you DD's. First there was the book report... then the science project on the "heart"... and then ANOTHER book report. This teacher is killing me. Hopefully she will have time on Tuesday or Wednesday to send out a few emails.
