I don't have personal experience but our 21 month old DGD is lactose intolerant and DD has already checked on the availability of Lactaid. DD provided specific instructions on her nursery reservation that they ONLY feed her liquids that mom provides since she only drinks a little water and half honey thinkened Lactaid. DD will be getting the Lactaid and then adding the thickener and taking that to the nursery.
I found this on the Guest Services section on the DCL website under Special Dietary Requests
"Disney Cruise Line offers gluten-free, vegetarian, no sugar added, dairy-free and lighter offerings on all of our table-service restaurant menus."
Also the line "Once aboard the ship, food allergies should be brought to the attention of your Head Server."
I bet you won't have any problems. She's little. She'll just eat what you offer to her. She'll do fine.
Thanks! She'll be turning one on the cruise. Im hoping to introduce her to coconut milk and almond milk about two weeks before so she'll have something other than water and breastmilk to drink. She currently eats whatever we eat (provided it's non dairy), so I think she'll be fine. I need to go back into our reservation and add the allergy. The kids staff does a wonderful job, so I'm not too concerned.
