November 25-December 1...Who Else???

We changed our plans.. now we'll be heading down in November.. 12-18. Can't wait.. not sure if we will be going to MVMCP, but we can see the Osborne Lights at least.

 DH and I will be at POP on 11/25-12/01. This is our first trip! :cloud9: Any tips would be greatly appreciated!:goodvibes

Just booked today! Nov 28 - Dec 4th at Pop. Just me, DH and DD 11. This will be our 2nd trip, last time DD was only 4 and barely remembers anything. She's quite excited. (as am I):woohoo:

We'll be there from the 27th to the 2nd.. Staying at CBR.. Can't wait- it's my 2nd trip to the world at Christmas and my 2nd trip this year :cutie:

We will be there Nov 26 to Nov 20...4th year in a row for our anniversary. We are staying at BCV a first for us. Not sure if doing the Candlelight Processional this year did it the past 3. This will be my DD's 11th trip!!!

But first up our trip in 3 weeks to BWV.

I'll be there the same dates. MVMCP on 29 Nov!!! Can't wait.
Weather should be in the mid 80's, cooler at night so bring a sweater or hoodie, and of course there will be snow on Main Street in MK!!! Staying at POR.

I'm really looking forward to the MVMCP. This is my first trip to WDW while it's decked out for Xmas. I'm very excited to see the parade and all the gingerbread houses at the hotels. Not sure what to expect from Candlelight processional though. I hope it's as special as everyone makes it sound in their posts.

Hi everyone - can I join in the fun? I'll be at the Dolphin from 11/29-12/3, just DS7 & myself. Yahoo I'm so excited! We were there the 1st week of December last year & the weather was all over the place. One day shorts & tees (it never got hot or humid - I'd say a high temp of 78 - perfect weather) & then one day it was very windy & cold, temps about 55 & we were freezing. Literally shivering & teeth chattering! So for this year I plan to wear pants, a sweater & winter vest to fly down & have that as my back-up cold day outfit! I'll pack capris, tees & hoodies for the other days. Gloves aren't a bad idea either, we would have given anything for them that one day!

Anyone else at Swan or Dolphin this time??

My husband and I brought the kids, grandkids and my mom last year from 11/28-12/2- stayed at the Poly, went to MVMCP - weather was beautiful and crowds were minimal. Had such a great time, we're doing a repeat performance this year from 11/25-12/1. My best advice is plan, plan, plan otherwise you'll be waisting time aimlessly wandering around the parks wondering what to do next. Have a great trip!

We'll be at POR 11/24/07 -12/01/07. Have MVMCP tickets for 11/30. DH, myself, and my identical twin go every year at this time. Love POR and WL. Last year MVMCP was great. The weather was perfect. Question about POR, AB. We've never stayed in AB, do they have a curtain between sinks and bed like magnolia rooms do? I love this feature in the room.

My family has only been to WDW once and that was 7 years ago! I just realized how long ago it really was :lmao:

We are doing the candlelight processional package also. I'm like you...I really can't tell if it will be worth taking the time from exploring the park to see it. You'll love the Xmas decor...I know just from going to DLand that it is so beautiful with all the lights and snow on Main St. I think we'll really enjoy the MVMCP!!!

Coming in late to the game...(and this is my first post! wahoo!) I hope this discussion gets picked back up!
We are going to be there the 25th-1st. Can't wait!!! We are totally surprising the kids (10, 4, & infant) who think we are just going to Grandma's for Thanksgiving. Which we are, but then instead of flying back home we will make a stop in Orlando!:cool1:
I would like to make little surprise goody bags for them to give them once we get on the plane to MCO. (This trip is their Christmas present.) So any ideas for some neat Disney inspired treats for their bags? So far I plan on getting some tshirts made at the Disney shopping site.... after that I have not got it figured out!!:confused3

Some things I've started picking up for our trip:
-glow sticks
-Disney light spinners
-Disney activity books and stickers
-Disney DVD's (we're driving...19 hours!)
-Disney book's on CD and Disney tunes to listen to
-Disney fanny packs for kids
-character wallets for each (spending money)
-disposable camera's
-colorforms playset (CARS and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse)
-fleece hats and mitts (Disney characters!)
-character pencil cases, filled with pencil crayons
-flashing character pens (they have feathers on the end)
-Buzz Lightyear nightlight
-mini M&M candy tubes (to keep change for pressed pennies)
-mini Magna Doodles
-Buzz Lightyear flashlights
-fleece throws (I had embroidered with Disney characters-for sitting on curb)
-and mini umbrella's (I fabric painted a different character on each)

I have been planning this trip for 17 months! (with still close to 4 more to go) So, I've had loads of time to plan! Good luck and have fun planning! :thumbsup2
