If you have any specific questions regarding the port of calls (we have been to all of them several times) or the cruise line/ship, just ask.

I thought I would chime in with Steve [and add in a few tips if you have vever cruised DCL]. We too have been on all three of the "older ships" and are looking forward to cruising on the fantasy!!

This is great! I hope we can get a really good conversation going with all you vets of the crusing world. As I said, DW and I have only been twice, once in 2000 on the Magic and then in 2002 on the Wonder (or was it the other way around). This was a "spur of the moment" decision on how to spend our one week vacation this year and I am really looking forward to taking the new ship out for a spin for a full week. Our other cruises were of the four day variety. Thanks for the information.

We're starting to work on the fish extender gifts. Janet, we also took your mouse-ear design from page one and put it on a magnet backing to hang on our door. May work on some seaonal items for putting on the door as well.

Other than decorating the ship, will Disney do anyting else special that week for the Christmas holiday season?

I forgot to mention about adding my DW and I to the M&G. :scared1:

I am Steve and my DW Lisa. we are from Cocoa Fl. The cabin is a GTY, so no cabin assigned yet.

Please include us in the FE.

Thanks!!

Due to a limit on graphics for any one post,
I have had to remove our (:fish:) from our roll call.

Our FE list is now located here:

I have been reading cruise trip reports the last few days to get some new ideas and get excited about the cruise. I started reading some of the Alaska trip reports and now I am seriously thinking we should rebook on board for a DCL Alaska cruise - hoping they will have the 2014 schedule out by then and hoping that Alaska will be a choice.

When you book on board can you get multiple rooms if you are thinking next cruise might be with adult children and spouses and grandkids?

Hopefully someone will correct me if this is wrong, but I believe you can book the same amount of rooms as you have for the current cruise. So, if you are sailing with 2 rooms this cruise, you can book for 2 rooms on the future cruise.

The last 2 times we cruised (2010 & 2011) we were given a "Friends and Family" coupon for each cruise that we booked while on board. Each of those gift certificates were good for someone else that wanted to cruise with us and they got the same perks that we got (discount on booking and onboard credit) - but they had to book the exact same cruise that we booked and it only had like 30 days until it expired.

I know they changed the onboard booking rules. I think you can only reserve the same number of staterooms you have on the current cruise with the discount.

To help time pass a little faster, I am going to start a question of the week for our group!!!:yay:

:confused3

This weeks question is:

For those who have cruised on DCL before and participated in the FE exchange, what are some of the best FE gifts you have received?

 Candy from other countries
 "Cruise" or "Disney" music CDs
 One woman made personalized embroidered totes!!

To be honest - anytime we came back to the room and there were things in the FE, we would be thrilled!!

It was my understanding that you could book the same # of rooms as you had adults in a room. So 2 adults means you could book 2 future cruises and get the discount. At least this is what we were told by the CM that booked our Fantasy cruise for us when we were aboard the WBTA last September. I guess this could have changed since then, though. :confused3

Items from where the giver calls home (we have a coffee cup as a gift from a fellow cruiser who is from Connecticut and everytime we use it we think of her).

Thanks. Guess I'll have to see if I can finagle something while on board. I'm going to need four rooms (thinkng one outside three inside and they can upgrade if they want).

Great idea!! However, I can be of no help on this one as this will be the first FE we have participated in (didn't have these in the old days). Love the answers thouigh. We'll be working on ours. Not sure if we are doing one per room or one per person but leaning towards one per room.

Kind of like a secret Santa to keep with the holiday spirit.
